Failure, heights, disappointing my father, losing members of my family.

Nothing too unusual.

I've experienced many failures in my life. So I'm disgusted with failing once again and also experiencing in general :?
Disappointing Family and close friends is also a disaster which concludes to less reliability and respect.
Finally, losing dear family members is really sorrowful, even death of cousins makes me cry (with tearing).

This topic is good for psychologists! "Subject one has severe ...phobia!" "Subject zero is suffering from fear of society and bugs" :D

I'm surprised by the amount of straight up atheists on BSN. Not that I take issue with it. But one thing that I was told by an old man when I was 14 I'll never forget.

He asked me if I believed in Heaven and I said no. He asked me what if there were a Heaven and I'm the one who builds it? He told me he'd rather build an imaginary Heaven and a road to get there rather than die and reach an afterlife of nothingness.

Of course he could have been just a crazy old man on too many perscriptions, but what he said kind of made sense at the time.

/OT anecdote

I'm not atheist myself tbh, I like to think that there is a purpose to life, that there's something more after it. I just dont really follow a religion as religion is made by man, I believe whatever made everything is God, whatever it may be. I dont dismiss religion, I do look at various religions and consider that they all might be right or wrong in some way or another, but I dont have the right to say what religion is correct or wrong, I dont know what is. I'm not atheist, I'm spiritual as I am sort of religious but I'm not actually a part of any religion and I consider them all.

I'm going with too many perscriptions.

Another thing that scares me is when I've hiked 12 miles into nowhere and in the black of night I hear the dishes I've stored in a tree begin to rattle. It's always chipmunks, but then, one of these nights it could end up being one of these:

Afraid of Deep Water can be a sign of High conciousness . I used to hate hearing my heart beat after training because of the fear that it might stop . I also started to develop agoraphobia ( The fear of panic attack) but since treatment It's getting much easier. It's all about accepting your body signal  has a natural  and normal thing.

Phobia are an irrationnal fear . Your'e basicly scared to be scared.

Someone told me that when I die I'd rot in the ground, renewing the earth with my flesh and would cease to fuction. Like a machine, an animal. No memories. No feelings. No existence. It made sense to me.

LOL. I mentioned Redback/Black Widow spiders... but you folks down under have even more dangerous spiders than that to worry about, don't you? I sure would hate to be on the wrong end of a Funnel Web spider's fangs.

Spiders. I can't stand the way they move, and possibly poisonous factor doesn't help.

Bees/Wasps/any insect with a painful/poisonous bite or sting. I can tolerate them a little, but not for long. I have a low threshold for pain, and combined with my needle fear, my many run-ins with these insects hasn't been helpful for the stress that comes with seeing them.

Hypodermic needles. I hate the thought and feeling of cold metal under my skin. The pain combined with how I just want to rip it out but can't is what causes me anxiety.

Interestingly, I almost drowned when I was about 7, but I'm not afraid of water at all. I've also been attacked by both cats and dogs, but I still like them too.

Well thank you Skyrim for giving me a fear of Spiders.
So, first on the list is Spiders.

2nd. Probably Roaches. I gained that fear after washing my hands and a tree roach came in from the window and landed on my foot. Screamed like a little girl, sadly too admit.

Over and all, that's it.

OH fast rides at fairs and stuff. I gotta fear a bolt is going to come loose and well..ima die.
Or that my face will be ripped off by the wind..

EDIT: Also faied too mention, I am scared of the game (before the update) Total Miner: Fortress Craft.
Them huge spiders...with the glowing eyes...and that horrid screach...
EEK.:pinched:

I'd have to say snakes tend to make me pretty nervous, as well. We have a number of venomous snakes in my area, some of which I've encountered personally - and hope to never encounter again.

Also, I knew a guy who owned a pet boa constrictor - the crazy guy would take it out of its tank and put it around his shoulders, knowing full well that all the thing would have to do is tighten its muscles, and his windpipe would be crushed.

Zombies. I seriously check my car for zombies before I will use it.
Being stabbed. Drowning. Falling. Burning.
Being Buried Alive. *shudders just thinking about it*

Generally I try to keep a healthy distance from animals and insects with poison or sharp teeth or claws, but I wouldn't really say that I have any kind of chronic fear of them.

Like I said it's the thought of not existing, I dont want to fade into nothingness, some people might find that welcoming, but I dont.

But thats the way it is.

Anyway, I fear this:

Irrational Fears! Let's hug this lovely shark and show how we are so RATIONAL!
Possibly the most rational person is Hercules who fears nothing

Most of fears are rational, there is something harmful going to happen if you don't avoid the fear object. But fear from an ant or water isn't rational. I mean most of ants don't do any harm and If you know how to swim, there is no difference between 1 meters depth or 50 meters. On the contrary if you fall from 1 meters you're hardly harmed but from falling 5 or 50 meters costs you severe injury or death.

I don't hate the sea but I dislike feeling seaweed with my feet, also being out in the middle of the sea with the possibility of sharks and boxer jellyfish. Overall I don't have phobias or fear anything, I used to be scared of the dark and Mr Blobby. That sound he makes...

I also hate people getting close to me, it's annoying. Anyone trying to talk to me annoys me, I dislike sharing (I brought the chewing gum, I'm not a charity!), I hate relying on others or when they rely on me, I dislike people with religious beliefs, people who show compassion, altruism, anything nice etc etc. Why be nice? You won't get the same treatment if you were in his or her shoes. Enough ranting and hating, I'm proberly anti-social, explains why I have little to no friends and lack of connection to family.

Wow, I'ld say you can scratch Probaly off the list, and expect to die as no one will help you if **** hits the fan. And yeah I'ld say thats obvious.

And what type of scenario is the **** hit the fan? I would obviously focus on mainly getting my sister to safety. she is maybe the only person I care about. I don't show it though. In a **** hit the fan scenario, nobody will help you, you fight to live or you die. You won't risk your life to save a person from zombies or from a tsunami coming your way.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "antisocial" - do you mean you're simply very insular and introverted, or do you have antisocial personality disorder? Or both?
