Even if you thought that the Garrus romance in ME2 was nothing but buddy sex - which it wasn't - the ME3 spoilers I've seen confirm that it certainly grows beyond that.someone else wrote...
Garrus is buddy sex - just look at the flirting -

Yeah i got to agree with Cheez, sounds like a man-crush to me. It's okey though, it's nothing wrong with admiting you got one
For the record, I also crush on Nihlus, Garrus, and Lorik. And maaaaybe a little on Wrex and Mordin.
And I am quickly developing feelings for most of the female squadmates.
Wow, all my male crushes are on aliens. Guys, I am really starting to think I'm 75% lesbian or more.

However, OP, for one you forgot Jacob (who has a pretty awesome decent romance when you get past the "priiiize" crap and the strange flirty pained FemShep) and I'm pretty sure Thane and Garrus count as full romances. Dying or not, Thane has a fantastic romance, it's moving as hell. Oh and the friends-with-benefits relationship with Garrus, screw that, I say it's true feelings not a "Hey Shep, wanna f*ck cuz we're about to most likely die?" it has real emotion, you know! (yes, I'm a fangirl, deal with it)
Also, have you not noticed but the biggest fanbases with FemShep romances are either with the alien guys or with the women? Seriously, I'm not joking. I mean, besides the KaidanXFemSHep fans, all the others are with the women or aliens, so, yeah.

So, if I get volus costume, there's a lot of chance you'll have crush on me?
EDIT: Scratch that, I meant Lilihierax instead of volus.

Gay ManShep:
You were saying FemShep is screwed and BioWare is promoting ****** romances at the expense of hetero options? Come again?
0/10 for the OP.

I say make everybody freakin' bisexual
I'm all for alien sex options, lesbian options, homosexual options, or whatever floats your boat -- but doing a Dragon Age 2 in the romance department is a step back for the romance section of the game imo.
As for the OP Jacob isn't that bad of a romance. I personally prefer it over all the others for femShep except Liara and Kaidan. I don't really buy Garrus and Thane as a LI for a few rp reasons.

OP, all you said are opinions, you don't like the romanceable men Bioware gave you, that's not their fault, get over it.
sure there's opinion - but in fact - there is one male LI in ME1 vs 2 female LIs [yes, we all know the asari are genderless, that why they all look like coatracks] and one in ME2 v miranda/jack/kelly, plus gianna.
- do i think BW is promoting gay and intespecies relationships at the expense of conventional heterosexual sex? Only for the women - but a gal ought to happy with any man she can get, right? Its the men who really deserve a range of options...perhaps BW is not a as PC as they think...

I've been saying for a long time now... We need a Natalie Portman female Turian for a Mr.Shep love interest and engineer squad mate.Really, this is all Bioware's fault for not including more female aliens.

Ah, some people think that. However, if everybody is bi then female/female, male/male, female/male, male/female, the player gets what the player wants. Nobody ever said you HAD to romance anybody.
In DA2 I think of it like this, sometimes my Hawke is a woman, and Fenris fits her better then Isabela or Merrill or Anders, maybe Isabela fits better then Fenris. Or say my Hawke is a guy and Merrill fits him better then the others, or maybe Fenris does, it's simple, that way I have the option to romance anybody who is a LI.
In ME however, my GuyShep is forever alone until 3 because he is gay. While most of my FemSheps have somebody. It's a simple fix in my view.

Isn't it equal, though? There are two romancable aliens of each gender in the series. In fact, out of the permanent ME3 squad, there are two females and only one male.AdmiralCheez wrote...

NO. FemShep has 3 options in ME2. Jacob, Thane & Garrus. All full romances. It ain't up to discussion whether you personally like these romances or not.someone else wrote...

Yes, straight ManShep has more options than straight FemShep. But don't even try saying gay ManShep is getting more at the expense of straight FemShep 'cause it's pure BS. So far, he didn't have even a single flirt. And even in the best case scenario in ME3, both straight & lesbian FemShep will have more options than gay ManShep.someone else wrote...

However, for FemShep's romance options, 60% are alien. With BroShep, 40% are alien.Cthulhu42 wrote...

Well, that has less to do with a lack of romancable female aliens and more to do with the fact that one of those female aliens is bi while neither male is.AdmiralCheez wrote...

I'm also going to get a little serious for a second, from the original post:
There is utterly no *confirmed* information about James Vega, besides his appearance and his military status. ASSuming he's going to be a random grunt soldier with no intelligence or personality is plain silly.Just looking at James Vega fanthread and boiled over - this guy looks like a thug with

So there are no gay/bi men (until ME3), and all the girls, even the aliens (except for the rachni queen and the krogan princess), have to be hot to get in. Damn you, heterosexual male audience!
