*Besides I haven't seen all that many ridiculously over the top Thane characters*

I've noticed that too. Thane has been sidelined in ME3 just as much as Miranda or Jack, yet none of his supporters seem to be insulting or being rude to the fans of the "favouritism characters" like so many others have. They've remained calm and respectful, just like Thane himself. And for that I thank them.

The judges decided to overlook the original summary execution part, in honor of all the brave men, women, and Cerberus people who died.

I know we are better than you ordinary people, but there's no need to publicly humble yourselves like that.

The same can be said of the Mordin and Wrex fans.

I would have stacked Thane agains Jack first. But I think it would have been a coin toss cause the Thane fans are too worried about their characters fate and the Jack fans don't frikin' care.
Thane isn't over the top. Image IPB *Hugs Thane* He's a trauma. And dying, you are forced by the rules of society to be nice to dying people.Image IPB

Why is the Miranda fans not stepping on the other fan groups in these scenarios? The girl has almost 4 times the number of fan worship pages. I think, never been in there, maybe they just have that many posts cause they are fighting off haters too.

Edit: Oh you mean over the top fans, I thought you meant to make him fight, damn internnet and your confusing.

I think it might also be the fact that Thane fans knew they'd chosen a dead man walking, and barring a DXM, the best they could hope for was a good and dignified exit for their rifle packing, death dealing monk.

I was thinking solely of the romancable characters. The non-romancable characters don't have large support threads or fanatical followers as a general rule.

Jacob. was pretty decent but arguable the cheesiest of them all. I hate Femsheps voice during these scenes too

Jack... In my honest opinion Jack NEEDS A FRIEND!!! Not a boyfriend... She needs a loyal friend. She shouldnt be in a relationship in my opinion.

Never would've thought I'd live to see there day where someone would critique Jacob's romance without senseless bashing him. Kudos to you.^_^

And yeah, I agree with you on Jack. I would've like Jack's more if it was platonic, or if it was just better paced.

Most romances, ME2 especially, are just flings. They're not real subplots - little more than a footnote, completely irrelevant to the main story. They severely lack passion and involvement - partly because they're Shepard's temporary distraction from the battle, and not part of the story itself.

Now, if we could have TIM romance, we'd finally have a romantic plot that's bound to be essential to the story, because of TIM's pivotal role. Not to mention that femshep would finally be able to date someone who's her equal. Even Admirals and Spectres don't even begin to reach the level of the savior of the galaxy. They will never be as informed as Shepard, will never aim to achieve as much as Shepard, will never be the focus of the war as Shepard is. No matter their status, they're mere underlings who follow Shepard's orders. At most, they're her alien liaisons, pawns in Shepard's grand game of saving the galaxy.

TIM, now, is just as powerful and relevant to the story as femshep. They're a perfect match.

How come I have never seen a TIM supporter a day in my life and now I have seen three and none can make it through a post without putting down every other romance to give credence to their own.

You guys do realize that her/his entire team is fighting with her/him till the very end while TIM opts out so he can sit and watch, the only reason he is not a big puddle of ash is because he is too afraid of Shepard to even meet her/him face to face. TIM is aiming to achieve nothing but pointing Shep in a direction and saying "sic em" to which she propmtly says "Fall in line of me stomped on buddy but don't get in my way." Ah the equality. And now even Liara is more informed. TIM is so unrespected that no companion has any issue turning him off mid sentence, They would never ever mess like that with Shep, how is he her/his equal? His own people undermine him all the time. Well informed my 'secret-biotic-testing-camp-for-kids' ass. Image IPB

Fleshdress just let it go.

I didn't go through all the trouble of creating an amusing distraction just to have it destroyed by someone I agree with.

Okay so Miranda Fans, she has a huge fanbase... so scenario me this

Miranda Fans vs Tali Fans.

Personally I think they would band together to get revenge on whatever fandoms say they are only with these characters because of the looks. But we can force them to fight anyways. Go.

Really? Well bah.

Discussing any fandom group sort of feels like beating a dead horse. Have to spread the fighing to other Famdoms. Anders vs Jack, they have similar interests.Image IPB Dunno, this thread is probably dying now anyways. Nowhere to go after the "Oh shutup and don't romance anyone cause no one is holding Cain to your head and forcing any of you" Card is pulled. Thank you LiveloveThane.Image IPB

I actually agree with the OP. Not fully though, but he does make great points. Ash, Kaiden, Jack and Thane's romance plot are the most believable, mainly because there is build up to the romance and it doesn't immediately start out with "I'm attracted to you."

You look at Shep and Ashley's romance dialogue and it's very subtle but to the point. They have a lot of common and they talk about all kinds of subjects and express their feelings on them. But you sense a bond between them as it's happening.

But then you look at LIs like (and i hate to use the obvious here) Tali, and it isn't subtle and there's no build up to it. A lot of the romance dialogue comes off as corny and rushed.

The romances could definitely use some work, although I really liked the ME1 romances, except there were not that many romance lines. I remember when I romanced Kaidan we would almost always flirt toward the end of our conversation like "do you get this close to everyone on the ship commander" or "After all this is done I'm glad to take some time off with you" or something like that.

Tired of rushed, boring romances? Disappointed with insipid writers? Try IRL romancing! Feels realistic, is very well timed and does not feel rushed (depends on player), and has a 50-50 chance of ending up in marriage! Try now! It's ABSOLUTELY free (date expenses and wedding expenses not included).

50-50? Those odds are awful. If someone told me there's a 50% change I'd marry the girl I was dating. I'd stop dating.

How did Ashley and Kaidan fans beat Liara fans we had the superior plot Armor, plot importance and finally gods (the writer Mac Walters) favouritism. How can the even with the combined force of the VS match that.

Also where is Miranda Admiralcheese! She is the most romanced char in me2. Yes, more than Tali. You know why.

Hint:
Miranda was made for casual gamers.
Tali was made for basement nerds.

Guess which group me2 was made to appease and which group bought me2 most.

According to the game stats Miri was the most romanced. So why didn't she fight.

Save it for March. BSN will be flooded with old and new Talimancers, all drooling at the side of their mouths and joining your multiplayer groups.
