Hello forum posters, firstly I would like to apologize if this is not the correct section of the forum to post in, but I can't seem to make a thread in any of the other subforums. My question pertains to a minor individual involved in a small sidequest, so I hope that doesn't give any spoilers out

My question pertains to stealing from a particular individual in Orzammar, Rogek, involved in this quest http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Rogek. As many have known, a player can steal 20 sovereign from him before talking with him or accepting the quest. I stole from him successfully but seems like I only got 40 silver or so rather than 20 sovereign. Thinking that it may just be bug or luck, I saved and reloaded many times, every time stealing successfully from him but only yielding me either typical normal item you can steal from regular NPCs or some silver, all far cry from the 20 sovereign. Is there something that I did incorrectly here?

Ah, thank you for pointing the registration requirement out. I'll do that afterwards.

Regarding the question on the stealing itself, I actually found the answer of it myself. When the stealing attempt yielded a meager item as I mentioned earlier, in the same attempt I actually got the 20 sovereign together with the item, it's just that the game did not give me the notice of "stealing 20 gold", merely showing "item obtained" but in actuality 20 sovereign was also stolen together with the item.
