Do Morality Path Choices and Personality traits correlate?

I've been lurking these forums for awhile and I'm seeing a definite pattern here.

On BSN, renegade members tend to be exceptional. They tend to be "cooler" "more amusing" "more rational" "more realistic" "less of a Bioware fanboy/girl" and just more down to Earth.(if that makes sense in this context)  I don't know if it's just a coincidence or something to think about, but why is that? Is there an actual correlation to your main Shepard morality path and your actual personality?

If that is so. Does it mean Renegades tend to be extraordinary.(good or bad)

Where as Paragons represent the status quo?

Think about it, Saphra Deden, Zeel, Kaiser, etc, etc. They tend to be controversial, but I find most of their posts are on point, humourous and generally dismissive of Bioware's claims. Where as everyone else (Paragon players) tend to just sort of go with the flow. Sometimes bland and uninteresting.

Keep in mind, renegade members get attacked the most and their points are always belittled.

I am not trying to be an elitist here. Just something I thought was worth discussing.

I have seen equal amounts of intelligence and wit on both sides, actually.

And equal amounts of douchedom.

This really is an obvious trolling attempt, however, and you are a bad person and should feel bad.

By the way, I'm 75% paragon and I'm the most goddamn fabulous person to have ever lived.

God. Damn. Fabulous.

But to a certain extent... Well with Zeel and Kaiser. I dont knomw Saphra or Dedan.. Not sure what to make of with the other things you said.

I'm not saying one side is "stupid" and one is "douchy".

I'm saying some traits are very prevalent on one side. For example, the douchy-ness goes without explanation. Renegades members tend to be rude and abrasive but not exclusively.

I find renegade member competent debaters aswell but not exclusively.

So you are saying that Renegade members are douchey, but so are Paragons. Renegades are good debaters but so are Paragons.

What was the point of this again?

I might be mispelling his name, I'll go check.
All three of them are what BSN might consider a troll. Some of their posts are just meant to provoke but other times when they're being serious they know how to handle theirselves. I've disagreed with them from time to time, but they've always presented good reasoning to back up their position.

Where as, I feel, whenever reading their opponents posts (usually a paragon, go figure) their arguments are shallow and not well-thought out.

Let me repeat, I am not saying intelligence is exclusively Renegade. I'm saying, the few renegades we do have tend to be extraordinary.

So there's no correlation, really.  You've just got a thing for Kaiser.

Unfortunately, he's already crushing on Saph, repeatedly denying the fact that Saph is, in fact, a man.

You need to bone up on your TIM fanclub drama, man.

See. If you were a renegade you wouldn't be asking this question.

okay, joke. I play as a Paragon as well.

My point is; On BSN, our renegade members are the remarkable members. Where as paragon members are just commonplace. Does that morality path attract the "unique" kind?

Yeah I honestly dont think Zeel is a troll. (Shoot me lol ) Simply because he makes good points even though he intentionally provokes alot of people. Kaiser whines alot but I understand some of the reasons he whines.. even though I disagree with some of the things he has said.

I think you guys are doing a good job of providing evidence for my claim.

If one side is more prone to well-thoughtout arguments there IS a correlation. How else can I state this?

You are talking about the TIM fanclub, not renegade members as a whole.

And I'm not remarkable?  Baby, why do you hurt me?

I don't find you remarkable. You are a good representation of the paragon side. Nothing wrong with that, just very "normal".

Those guys, tend to have different "controversial" views and they tend to argue their side very well.

You mention three Renegades. You KNOW there are more than three renegades on this site. So, no, renegades in general are not "cooler" or "smarter" or anything like that. Three people who are renegades may have good arguments (though I really don't know why you're counting Zeel), but there are dozens here who don't.

I've taken the most promient Renegades and used them as examples. Again, I feel you guys are having trouble grasping the main point

Can it be just a coincidence that BSN's 3 badasses play renegades?

I've yet to see any "cool" paragon members. Where are they hiding?

Actually, what I did there was humor.  Maybe bad humor.  Hell, I'm tired and I get weird after cheap Chinese food.

There's no way I can argue with you without attacking the character of the people you listed.  Why?  Because your whole premise revolves around what wonderful, fascinating, smart people the members of the TIM fanclub are.  I could prove that they aren't--I have several conversations with them saved in my personal messages--but that's a dick move.  There's no way I can say you're wrong without looking like an ass.

This whole thread is a clever setup to try to get people to make fools of themselves, to divide the community further, to get members to start slandering one another.

That's kind of a douche move, pal.

I simply called them renegade members (which they are) the TIM fanclub is secondary. if you can prove those 3 members are not renegade members than you have a good argument.  Untill then, everything else you've said is void.

I do not need to divide this community. Its been split in half already. All you have to do is read a topic that contains any of those 3 members and watch them attack each other.

I think Dean is the most intelligent of the 'Pro-Cerberus' posters. In debates with Dean I've always been more impressed and challenged than with Saphra, for example. The others seem to just whine a lot about everything, and I feel I have debated them satisfactorily on various topics.

You are paragon then.

@eternal

My opinion on how BSN works can only be subjective. If you want facts. I can give you some.
Those 3 are some of the most controversial members active.
Those three members are renegades.
Those three members argue their points well.

my opinion is subjective but I base it on facts.

Not sure who Dean is. Link to a topic with him debating, if you don't mind.

I'm not saying these people are Holy Debate warriors.

They argue their points better than the majority and they are very entertaining to watch.
