That's one of my favorites, along with Garrus, Tali, and The Attack. Shadow Broker Boss Battle is a good one too.Colintastic wrote...

Still, I feel like this album is split between being a great metal cover for the greater half, and then the other half feels like you took a song, and tried to make your own song using the basis of the original as a template.
Now, I'm being really critical here, and your effort was not wasted at all, so don't let my picky-ness get you down. This is still a great album of metal versions of classic ME songs, so I'm not complaining. I'm enjoying the music, but as tips for next time, these are things that turn you from a musician who is merely fun to listen to, into a guy who makes legendary music.
Overall, I approve.
But it could use a few calibrations.

I love metal, and I love Mass Effect, but I'll be honest as a really critical musician. Some of the songs are muddied. Produced quite well, but hardly recognizable, and it especially shows on the boss battle tracks. Suicide Mission feels like there are entire parts missing, as though you only learned the one part and played it over and over; without the inflection of the original piece, it just sounds bland. However, listening to Vigil was simply beautiful. Same with the Main Theme. Those two pieces you have down really solid. I'm torn on The Illusive Man, because you have the passion and feel for the piece, but I don't hear all the different parts once again. Uncharted Worlds is another piece you did right with.

thanks for the feedback man! I'd like to hear some of your stuff! I'm still relatively new to doing stuff like this since this is my first full album and I did it entirely myself. Also keep in mind I'm a 20 year old drummer

Tali has some good chugging action going for it. A bit stock-y on some of the instrumentation, but it's still quite solid. The cute little DOOM-esque melody near the second half is a nice touch.
Garrus is pure thrash(which is always a good thing), though I'm not sure if the brief electronica bits were necessary for the overall flow.
Still, I bow before your work, for the glory of the metal.
....THE METAL.
Possible name for the next album:
The Illusive Metal?
Reach and Shreddability?

Overlord Boss Battle feels the most appropriate for the genre. The Double Bass Pedal really keeps the pace as high as the tempo, and the melody is simple and appropriate. Once the chugging comes in, it builds upon it.
One thing I would really like to hear would be some guitar solo attempts. For some songs, it's obviously not going to work - something as somber as Ilos or Vigil was meant to be on the quiet side. However, take a look at Garrus or Overlord Boss. There are some opportunities there to really blast it to, well, 11.

Well I would have tried a few more solos except for the fact that I'm not a guitar player. I'm a drummer! lol

Point taken - it's something to experiment with, but I'd probably being fumbling over for hours trying to make that on music-creation software. The songs overall still have the general guitar rhythms and riffs down very well though.Well I would have tried a few more solos except for the fact that I'm not a guitar player. I'm a drummer! lol

I had been looking forward to the whole album since you posted the first couple of tracks. There's a few rough edges on the production, but I must truly say that for a one-man project, in this amount of time you definitely did one hell of a job. Kudo's, sir, kudo's. Lots of them.
