Children ?

But on a more serious note, I'm all for kids after everything with the Reapers is settled, but with the galaxy burning, perhaps it's not the best time to worry about setting up housekeeping. Just a thought.

How would that even work?!
It doesn't.
At this point it'd work as well as my dog trying to having a new species with my neighbor's cat just because they could doesn't mean you'lll get anything.
The only way it'd work at this point would be Mordin makes a breakthrough or they go into the DNA and do artificial insemination to try to make it work since they've done that already to make dogs glow in the dark aka cross a jelly fish and a dog but both those cases even as a Tali/Mshep fan I'd riot against BW has already established kids for them is a no go so it should be. In reality though shep is sterile after being dead for 24 hours even frozen your body is still decaying so his sperm / her eggs are no longer viable for that and it would be really stupid of Cerberus to waste their time on that because you being able to / not to have have kids doesn't influence how you kill the reapers.

Given how the leaked script seems to be written by said mancers, I wouldn't be surprised if the final product actually had Shepard impregnating Tali during that particular "romance".naledgeborn wrote...
Hey look, another Tali "sweat" thread. Looking forward to when ME3 releases to read what other nonsensical topics the mancers can come up with.

24? Where does it say that?Calinstel wrote...
Tali is 24, so age has nothing to do with it.The PLC wrote...
I know that you Shepard can have children with Liara (or any other Asari for that matter), but I'm not too sure about Tali. Isn't she quite young too?

Quarians (and Turians) have right-handed Proteins and Amino Acids (including Nucleic Acids). Everyone else in the Galaxy has left-handed proteins. The two are simply NOT biologically compatible in any way. Period. End. Of. Discussion.
The Asari are a special case that it already explained in lore (essentially a form of induced parthogenesis) which means that protein compatibility doesn't matter with Asari.
The short answer is no. The long answer is HELL NO. The Aasari are a specific and special case that Mass Effect has gone to great lengths to explain.

Unless Bioware wants to throw away any semblance of honoring actual biology (and that's something that Bioware has been very careful with in Mass Effect), then no. Absolutely not. Shepard and Tali can not have children of their own. Neither can a Fem-Shep or Garrus. It goes waaay beyond the fact that two species are generally incompatible to something far more fundamental.

Well said. Hopefully this thing will not be changed in ME3.

I'm not talking about weddings or kids in mass effect 3. I'm talking about role play, when its over.
perhaps youd like to play a game like the sims instead. This is an action/rpg not a life simulator.

This is Mass Effect, not Fable or the Sims. Leave that stuff where it belongs.BIO18 wrote...
Hey all ! Okay so I'm not asking if there are gona be children in mass effect 3. I was just wondering if it was possible for Shepard and Tali to have children.
Cause it would really make the difference between Tali and Liara in my choice of LI.
I think its a negative, but if someone out there had a canon answer then it would be cool
Thanks !!!

Not sure if troll, but no, it's not. Humans and quarians not only hail from different species, but have fundamentally opposite chirality. Shepard would have more luck impregnating a goat.i dont see why they couldn't, i think it could be possible.

Are you kidding? They had sex in ME2, despite the lore and Tali constantly reminding the player that it's almost impossible without also involving her death. But then they use this lame excuse of anti-biotics and ****, now all of a sudden anything is possible with no consequences afterwards. Apparently that memo was not forwarded to the Flotilla.Random Nobody wrote...

If this was a deep RPG that actually stuck to it's own facts, you might have a point. But let's not forget we're talking about Mass Effect. Human reaper. QED.

Implausible or not, neither Chickengirl sex or the Babynater directly violate previously established rules in the ME universe.
