As I said before they could make Shepard a handsome profit. Just sell the little critters off to Batarian slavers, it might cut back on the amount of planet mining we have to do. The more I think about this the more I like the idea. Now I want children in ME3.

At least from my vague knowledge of reproduction prerequisites, it simply could not happen - at least, the old fashioned way. If you're looking for a more in-depth answer, I recommend The Greatest Show on Earth, a book written by richard dawkins on evolution and species, cousin-ship, that sort of thing.

Tali and Shepard Humping will not produce anything...besides either talimancers squee-ing, or enraged fans being enraged.

To answer OP in simple terms:

No.

Edit: Actually, I take that back. Hell no. Even if it were possible, it would be an abomination.

Man I love Berserk; interestingly enough, this is pretty much what I assume a Volus looks like. 

Kids should be an option depending on who you romance. Liara? Definetly. Ashley? Sure. Jack(Er.. I don't really see her as the "mom" type but why the hell not?)..

The only pairing(s) that wouldn't work/would create some sort of abomination; would be Miranda(Steril), Garrus(He's awesome, but its not physically possible.. Atleast without some severe gene modifaction, and even then I would be a bit afraid of what would come out.) Tali(Same with Garrus). 

Plus a whole bunch of people I've forgotten/cant be bothered to mention.

I doubt there will be little blue children... No baby Shepards. Just have this funny feeling and no I did not read the leak. I avoided that at all costs.

As far as children go, I think it possible for Shepard to have kids, both from Asari and other humans.

Miranda made it rather big that SHepard was to be brought back exactly as before, and there are some ways in today's RL world that body parts can be re-grown. It's dreadfully expensive, but... And Cerberus DID spend an insane amount of credits (over 4 billion, and we don't know exactly when that log was created) bringing Shepard back.

Plus, Miranda WOULD, in fact, pay attention to that feature, especially with Femshep. All that data just might eventually find her a cure for HER problem, and really, do you think that she wouldn't want THAT? REALLY?!?

As for kids, a female Shepard that romanced Kaidan in ME 1 could easily have been pregnant at the begining of ME 2. Ashley would have mentioned the child if she had one, and I doubt that Liara would have so willingly (and eagerly) become the Shadow Broker if she had a small child. But for Femshep, it can easily go either way, and I doubt that Miranda (or anyone else) would bring it up.

I wouldn't mind the idea of children in future Mass Effect games.

Random example, depending on your LI choices in the first trilogy, you could play as Shepard's son if you went with Ashley, or Shepard's daughter if you went with Liara.

I'd rather the new character have no ties to Shepard what-so-ever, a new bloodline in other words

Also I'm preety sure there are plenty of "Talimancer's" who think the idea of a hybrid child between Shepard and Tali is impossible

Much as it could be interesting, I doubt inter-species children are possible. However, it shouldn't stop Shepard and Tali from having children, adoption is always a viable route.
