I'm in act 2 and I didnt do the mine massacre quest.. Can I not discover the dragon blood resource now?
If not, thats really stupid...

You get the dragon blood in act 3 if I remember correctly - fighting the high dragon at the mine, the same one you get the Champion armour off.

There are bone pit quests in all three acts, but it doesn't really matter as far as the final fight goes if you missed them.
I missed them on my first playthrough but was still able to fight (rather, run away screaming ^^) the high dragon in Act three.

Yep, you can still fight the big bad High Dragon. It's tough though, I would suggest that you pick up an Axe called Bloom before doing it, since my mantra says that you're using an 2H warrior.
