So I preordered the game through gamestop weeks before release and my wife tells me that I she needs to take a class for work out of state . The classes take place monday through wednesday in Seattle .  So of course I say I will go with her and stay up there but I am so pissed I have to wait a few days longer to get my copy and play .
Anybody else have any stories of the forces that be conspiring to keep you from your "calling" to play Dao ?

I had the game pre-ordered for xbox 360: so of course I got rrod.



I switch my order to pc and think to myself "now all i have to do is live through the weekend" and bam : H1N1 ( i think)



i predict i will die sometime before tuesday morning.

My spouse is visiting with family, and needs me to drive for two hours each way to pick them up on Tuesday night. At least I'm getting Olive Garden or Red Lobster...

Sounds like Tuesday would be a nice, quiet day to take a vacation day from work.  Pickup DA mid-morning and play until late afternoon!

Sounds like Tuesday would be a nice, quiet day to take a vacation day from work.  Pickup DA mid-morning and play until late afternoon!

I guess my only consolation is that EA was late on getting my copy shipped (at least I think they were) so I might not get my game until Wednesday anyways.    Kind of an odd blessing, I think.

Thanks but I want the CE and don't want to pay a fortune for shipping, and probably it would arrive the same time as the local copy.
