I'm not connected to the internet and am just wondering how D.L.C. works...
Q1 - Do you need to be registered with PSN to get DLC from this site?
Q2 - Can you get DLC using a USB stick from a PC and then access it via your PS3?
Q3 - I'm thinking of getting mobile broadband and connecting my PS3 to that so that I can access DLC...is that practical? It would be 3G mobile broadband. So, that means "Can you connect a PS3 to mobile broadband?".
Anything else I need to know about this kind of stuff?
One more thing...I've already played the game right through without having access to that DLC recruitment character...would I be able to play that mission if I download the DLC and access my already completed game?
Thanks if you can help.
Questions on DLC...

Q1: Yes. You need access to the PSN to download DLC from the PSN store. That means creating a PSN account.
Q2: No
Q3: Yes(but not with all USB modems). It is possible. Use the mobile broadband USB modem on your PC and in the settings(network and sharing for Vista) tick the box that says "allow other users to connect through this computer internet connection". Then when prompted connect with an ethernet cable your PS3 to your computer. Go to network settings on your PS3 and choose settings, then internet connection settings, select easy wired and save.
Q4: Yes. you need only travel to said location(citadel for Kasumi, omega for Zaeed) and you will add them and their loyalty mission.
Hope this helped.

Thanks.
So, when it comes to PS3 games you can ONLY get DLC for them via PSN?
re Q3 - I'm a noob when it comes to the tech side of this...I don't have a pc, so the mobile broadband would just be for the PS3...so, the advice you give is for connecting the PS3 to the net via a pc...is it do-able without the pc?
p.s. Kasumi was already on my game...Zaeed wasn't...did I have a later version of the game to have Kasumi playable from the get go? I've said this a lot, but I'd rather all this kind of stuff came with the disc. On my first play though I fell in love with Kasumi! Its a pity that she's such a cardboard cutout character as far as the RPG element goes...same goes for whatsherface...Kelly Chambers...wow...I remembered her name and I haven't played the game for months, perhaps!
Cheers.

I have just downloaded the recon ops and I´m looking for it in the game in armor inventory and it´s not there. What the heck happened?
