If Zaeed's the only m/m romance of ME3, imma be pissed. Seriously there isn't ANY character I hate more than Zaeed, leaving him to burn alive after the SM was one of the best momments of the game imo. However, if there are other options, I don't have anything against a Zaeedmance.

I'm going to take a guess and say that any cameo character will not be a romance option. Kind of hard to romance them on a mission and if they're in the game for only like 10 minutes.

Nah, the problem with Zaeed is that all he talks about are war, killing stuff, weapons, torture, booze etc, he comes across as someone who reads soldiers of fortune and is desperate to impress on the world to how baddass he is. Some gays are like that, they turn on the testosterone to 210% to escape the sterotype that homosexual men are feminine.
Compare with Wrex, who also fit the grizzled mercenary role, He is comes across genuinely badass because he isn't trying to impress you, he has a family, political aspirations, dreams for his people and a dark humour, that is to say a personal depth beyond killing machine for hire.
