ME1 Council: Alive
The Rachni: Alive
What happened on Feros?: We won (Shiala is still alive and so is everyone else who matters)
Virmire: Kaidan (poor Ash). Kirrahe and other salarians skulking in our hold. And our best loved krogan lived!
Conrad Verner: We put up with him stoically
Noveria: Queen released, helped Gianna
Bring Down the Sky: ummmm... saved everyone, that is everyone lived including the git who started it (sadly). I want to kill him very badly so I hope that's sorted in ME3.
Anderson or Udina: Anderson

ME2 and the Council: dunno ? Still a spectre though [brushes small speck from uniform].
The Collector Base: In small pieces - offered Illusive Man a small tube of superglue and wished him good luck
Suicide Mission casualties: None, heh.

Let's see. I'll select my canon run (which isn't my hero run).
Mass Effect 1
Feros: I saved the colony. Unfortunately, 1 died in the firefight. We did everything we could. Things happen sometimes. Spared Shiala's life after Saren tossed her aside and she showed willingness to repent for her transgressions. Good riddance to the Thorian. And Jeong.

Noveria: Not a big fan of it, but I spared the rachni queen. She did nothing to me, and explained why her children attacked, which makes sense. I just pray indoctrination didn't pass down from queens to their young. Anoleis is behind bars.

Asteroid X57: My character was a colonist, so he already had bad feelings about the batarians and knew damn well what they were capable of. If he was just a slaver, I might have let him go. He tried to drop an asteroid on a planet. I was NOT letting him get away. In the end, I took him alive. Now he can get plenty of prison justice.

Garrus' Mission: Attempted to take Saleon alive. But died resisting arrest. Sometimes you can't predict how others act. You decide how you react.

Wrex's Mission: Got his armour back. Hell of a firefight. Seriously those guys did not want to go down.

Tali: Decided to share the data. It's better that everyone knows how to possibly gain an edge on the geth. Any edge. The quarians may see something the Alliance doesn't and vice versa.

Wrex Crisis: Wrex nearly forced my hand here when he decided to put his own goals ahead of the mission. I could understand how he felt, but the genophage cure would be used to make krogan that were loyal to Saren and give him an unbeatable army. And cue the Reaper invasion with krogan foot soldiers.

Virmire: Things got tense and a bit out of hand. Kaidan activated the bomb earlier than I thought he would. I was in a relationship with Ashley (I'm a Spectre and I can date whoever the hell I want), but I had to make sure that bomb went off and that Kaidan didn't get overwhelmed and the geth disarm the bomb. So I left Ashley to die...

Council: The stakes were high here. If we saved the Ascension, we may not have had the firepower to take down Sovereign from taking losses ambushing the geth ships. But if we lose the Council, there would be a power struggle and a civil war even if we did have the firepower. And assuming Sovereign was telling the truth, if we could get by Sovereign, we could work towards rallying everyone else to fight the Reapers. I chose to save the Council, and as I thought they were indebted to me afterwards.

Councilor: Initially, I tolerated Udina. He was grumpy but I figured that the guy was just doing his job as humanity's ambassador. But he crossed the line when he basically sold us out to the Council before the Battle of the Citadel in his own grasp for power. Anderson has stood beside me no matter how crazy things got, and even put himself on the line to get us to Ilos. I return the favour by endorsing Anderson as Councilor.

Mass Effect 2

Spectre Status: I had to listen to the Council basically trash everything I said and believed about the Reapers. Pissed me right off after everything I did for them. And then their token offering of reinstatement did it for me. I told them to go shove their offer up their ass. I could care less about them now.

Zaeed's Mission: Much like Asteroid X57, I didn't want to let a terrorist get away. Regretfully, a lot of people burned to death that day. I can still hear their screams. Vido did not get away with it. Vido himself burned to death.

Kasumi's Mission: I can understand why she wanted to keep the Graybox. But the information inside was too sensitive. And the graybox's original owner was killed for it. And the Alliance could be implicated. I was not big on the Alliance at this point and time, but humanity on a whole could be affected. So I destroyed the graybox.

Legion's Mission: I learned that geth can be hacked and possibly be controlled by outside influences (Project Overlord). The less potentially hostile geth there are out there that worship the Reapers the better. Legion himself said the heretics could possibly reach the same conclusions again, so blowing up Heretic Station was viable and guaranteed that almost all the heretics would not be a threat save for some fringe groups.

Project Overlord: Again at this time, I was rather anti-Alliance due to them pretty much blowing me off after I died. But this made me sick. No way I was letting an autistic man be held at the mercy of a psychopath who pretty much got everyone else killed and nearly a technological apocalypse across the extranet.

Tali's Mission: This case was BS. They were basically making Tali the scapegoat for what happened on the Allarei. Almost like they expected Tali to take the fall for her father. As I investigated further, the case was more about the war then about Tali's 'treasonous' activity. So I called out the admirals and rallied the quarians behind Tali. The admirals wanted nothing to do with an angry crowd and acquitted Tali.

Genophage Data: This has 'Ethical Debate of the Millenium' written all over it. To all but sterilze a species to keep them from unleashing a nearly unstoppable horde of krogan against the rest of the galaxy at expense of millions if not billions of still-birthed krogan. Mordin though had all the evidence on his side and had considered every other option available. Even with Wrex as chief, he could eventually be taken down and replaced with... Wreav. And Wreav + Cure = War. The genophage was the right call.

Normandy Crew: I at this point was in a romance with Kelly. So I was obviously not going to let her and the crew die. Especially when we were good to go. We rushed into the Omega 4 relay after the Collectors.

Collector Base Tasks
Vents: I can't believe I did this in retrospect. But I selected Garrus for the vents. I think I was thinking that I wanted someone who could look after himself in case he got ambushed in the vents or something like that. Turns out he didn't get ambushed and was only so-so as a techie.

Secondly, I think I chose Samara as team leader because I wanted someone with lots of firepower leading the charge.  Samara knows how to use guns and biotics quite effectively. In retrospect, Samara is more of a loner and not a leader.

Garrus took a missile to the face, and didn't walk it off this time...

The Long Walk: Fortunately, I saved the crew. Every colonist was likely dead or going to be dead very soon as we bore witness to what they were doing with the colonists in those pods. A very crappy way to die. After learning one pathway was festering with seeker swarms, we hoped biotics would keep them at bay. Since Jack's biotics were insanely powerful, I entrusted her to lead us through the swarms. It was tough on her physically and mentally as we were being attacked on all sides as she maintained the barrier, but she pulled it off.

I chose Zaeed to lead the second team. Since this man has decades of experience on his side, I figured he was a prime candidate to lead a team through hell. After this game, I learned that a lot of his missions ended with a lot of people dying except Zaeed himself. Ironically, in spite of leading the men in the Blue Suns, Zaeed was the only one to die in the ensuing fire fights.

I wanted our crew to make it back safely. At this point, the colonists were lost and we had to save some people. Namely our crew. So I wanted someone who could protect the crew and not be afraid of overwhelming odds at even making it back to the ship. I chose Grunt for this role. He wasn't the biggest fan of being sent back, but I was his battlemaster and that decision was mine alone to make. Grunt and the crew made it back safely.

The Final Battle: Once we brought down the Human-Reaper Larva, I got ready to blow up the base after giving the rest of the squad the other to fall back to the ship. That was when The Illusive Man presented me with another option: A radiation pulse that would kill all enemies but leave everything intact. I personally didn't like leaving the Collector Base in the hands of the Illusive Man. But this wasn't an opportunity we could exactly pass up. The stuff here was Reaper tech, and could possibly teach us something about the Reapers. I knew I would probably regret this later, but I went with the Illusive Man's plan. Myself, Samara, and Thane worked together to bring down the Human-Reaper Larva when it showed up again to try and kill us. We escaped in the nick of time. I told the Illusive Man to use the base to fight the Reapers and not for his own ambitions. After a few tense words, I cut the com and went to get the crew ready to fight the next battle against the soon to be incoming Reapers (after a memorial to honour those who died and celebrate our victory with a night of partying and drinking).

That was when I got a message with a personal request from Admiral Hackett...

Collector Base Casualties:
-All Collectors within the base. Potentially tens of thousands
-Collector General
-Hundreds of thousands if not millions of human colonists
-Tali Zorah vas Normandy (died holding the line)
-Mordin Solus (died holding the line)
-Zaeed Massani (died leading the second fire team)
-Garrus Vakarian (died trying to shut a door after the three pronged attack)

Romance: Initially I was going to romance Ashley as we hit it off together initially. But sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of the mission. Not just the sacrifices others may hold dear, but the ones you may hold dear.

I found myself chatting up with Kelly quite often after an inital flirt. She was always nice to me and even asked me if I was okay at challenging points on the mission. Conversations led to dinner in my cabin (and probably more) and she ultimately became my girl. I wonder how things will work out going into ME3.

Hope you all enjoyed that long read. Those were all my choices and the rationale behind them.

Mass Effect 1
Romaced Ashley: Ashley really grew on me in ME1 and I felt like she was pretty close to my same Ideals, so pursued a romance with her.
Samesh's dead wife given to be reasearched: I thought to myself if I died I wouldn't mind having my body be used for reasearched to help save lives in the future. Because of this I covinced Samesh to let his wife's body be reasearched.
Worked with Chorban in scaning Keepers: Felt like learning about something we hardly know about was a good idea, so worked with Chorban and convinced Jahleed to do the same.
Led Garrus down more Paragon path: Felt Garrus was heading down a path where he would hurt a lot of people in the future, so tried to lead him down a more Paragon path.
Saved all Colonists and let Shiala go: Decided it wouldn't hurt to give the nerve gas a try, and let Shiala go mainly because I felt she wasn't a danger at the time. Now since I know more about indoctrination not so sure about it.
Let Balak go to save hostages: One of the few choices I feel like I shot myself in the foot for trying to keep my Moral self.
Gave Cerberus data to Shadow Broker agent: Felt like giving data to the agent might hurt Cerberus. Plus if need be I might be able to use that agent for help in future.
Let Rachni Queen go: Letting her go could be a huge gain or huge mistake. Decided to make a gamble and try for the huge gain.
Kaidan was Sacarficed on Vimire: Sent Ashley with Salarians because I felt I needed Kaidan to plant the bomb, then decided to save Ash because she had Salarians with her so I was saving more lives.
Supported Terra Firma: I'm big on Humanity becoming more independent from Council so I felt Terra Firma could help with that. Plus getting on their good side might make it easier to convince them to help me in future.
Abandoned the Council at the Battle of the Citadel: Felt Soveriegn was the bigger threat, Plus the Citadel fleet would distract the Geth fleet
Chose Anderson to be councilor: I chose Anderson Because I felt Udina would still control most things, but if needed to I could have Anderson still make the final decision.
Mass Effect 2
Stayed loyal to Ashley: I wasn't going to let our dissagreement on Horizon ruin a what we had. Instead I'll work out the problems and try to get her back.
Destroyed Greybox: Too dangerous for Humanity had to destroy it. Plus Kasumi needed to move on.
Saved refinery workers on Zaeed's mission: While I felt like I made a mistake with letting Balak go. With this I felt there was too many lives at stake to let Zaeed have his stupid revenge. (still like Zaeed though)
Refused offer to rejoin Spectres: Mass Effect 1 I Learned Spectres are just a way for the council to get away with crap, So I felt I didn't need to be part of that plus being a spectre working with Cerberus would look really bad.
Left Jacob's Father on the planet: He wanted to be a god well fine lets see how he likes it when he's all alone.
Talked Garrus out of Revenge: Never been fan of revenge felt Garrus might regret it later. Let him shoot Harkin though.
Kept Genophage data: I don't like biological warfare, and felt it would be good barganing chip to Krogan on our side.
Destroyed Geth Heretics: When Legion said that they would share their memories I got worried that it would affect the True Geth. Also I wouldn't brainwash an organic race.
Warned Batarian Colonists: only Moral thing I could. (even if there was a choice I would still destroy the relay)
Took Archer's brother away: What he did to his brother was horrible and decided  that the reasearch wasn't worth it.
Sent Cerberus data to Alliance: knew that after the Reapers we would still have Cerberus to take care of. It also gives me brownie points from the Alliance.
Saved Capital city: Might be a mistake, but I couldn't let all those people die.
Kept the Collector Base: Felt that Reapers are the bigger threat and that base could hold information on them.

Destroyed it.  I have posted many times on why I do this, although I will do one playthrough were I save it.

rescue kaiden or ashley?

Kaiden for my cannon Femshep.  Ashley for my cannon Broshep.

save wrex or kill wrex?

Saved Wrex every time.  I like his character too much to kill him without trying to calm him down.

save council or not?

Saved, the Geth fleet were also a liability.  I choose this to smash them as often as I choose it to save a council I answer to as part of my duty.

pick anserson or udina afterwards?

Anderson, I don't trust Udina's body language or bursts of frustration.  He starts off alright, but by the end of ME1 has proven that he is unworthy of my attention or alliance.

Kill or spare rachni queen?

Spared so far in every save, however I do plan a game where I kill her, same playthrough as the collector base being saved.

saving or destroying the genophange?

Save, I like the Krogan, and identify with their warrior way.  Honor between comrades in arms.

rewriting or destroying the heretic geth?

Rewriting them is my usual answer because I don't feel Shepard has a right to chose, and so I apply diplomacy and simple majority to Legion's internal debate.

I personally prefer to blow it up, but that doesn't stop me from keeping it in a couple playthroughs.

I like Ash more than I like Kaidan, but I plan on saving them each an equal amount of times.

WREX ALWAYS LIVES.  Okay, he dies in the most failtacular playthrough ever, but other than that MAXIMUM WREX.

Depends on the Shep.  Probably save them more often than they deserve.

pick anserson or udina afterwards?

Apart from "super-fail" and "super-renegade" runs, I'm pretty sure it's always Anderson.  Udina's too... sneaky for my tastes.

Kill or spare rachni queen?

I'm not too comfortable with killing her, but hey, I've got a Shep or two that disagrees.

saving or destroying the genophange?

Seems dumb not to hold onto the data.  Destroyed it once or twice, though.

rewriting or destroying the heretic geth?

Not comfortable with either, so it breaks even.
