Hello,

I've tried to search for this, but haven't turned up anything.  I crash early in the game when you first meet Wesley and his wife.  The crash occurs after you get to say something to continue the story (the investigate options all work).  It crashes there 100% of the time for, and has never crashed anywhere else in the game leading up to it.

Details about your problem.
1. What is the nature of the problem you are seeing?
See first paragraph.  After responding with an answer to continue the story, all motion in the game freezes for a couple of seconds, and then the game crashes.

2. When did the problem start occurring?
At this exact point.  This is my first play through, and it happens everytime.  Strangely, I did play the demo (on this exact same machine) when it came out a year or so ago, and did not have this problem.

3. Where does your problem occur?
When choosing a conversation option that continues the story when first meeting Westley and his wife (can't remember her name), a few battles into the game.

4. What are the steps in replicating the problem?
Choose any of the conversation options on the right side of the wheel.  The options under the Investigate branch do not cause an issue.

5. Have you modified your game in any way?
I have installed & enabled the high res texture pack.  However, I have tried disabling it, with no luck.

Was able to get past it by going down to DX9.  Kinda sucks to not be able to play with 11 =/
