Agreed. Excuse me if I don't want to see pixelated ****s. I thought that the ME2 romance scenes were more emotional than the ME1 ones.  I actually LIKED the ME2 ones more because they faded out to black. I think that the Garrus head bump, and Tali's nervousness spoke more to me about the relationships than getting to see Liara's *** and a side boob.

I actually found the TW2 sex scene a bit off-putting (with the elven prostitute) when I watched the video on the internet (haven't played the game, was just casually browsing the internet and remembered how people seem to worship TW's scenes), and a girl I know who's an RPG fanatic said she thought that it was a bit mergh too.

ME1 sex scenes were perfect. You know what's going on, you see some ass but nothing that would harm innocent children's brain.

Pretty much for the same reason I looked at Witcher 2's romances and thought "eh."

They had no real substance. Which I think is much more important than pixel ****** and pixel ass.

It's pretty much what happens when they're relying on the nudity to make it a good romance. The buildup to it becomes shallow.

Prefered ME1 to some of ME2's, the latter's weren't necessarily bad, but some were better than others. As to TW2 I thought they were fine for The Witcher, doesn't mean something similar should be for ME3, DA2's were fairly poor.

ME1 got over criticised by a bunch of uptight commentators who got their panties in a twist, because a little soft nudity lasting a few seconds is too much in today's society. If they had got said underware off a little more often they may not have been so uptight about it.

I wouldn't mind more OUTRAGEOUS ALIEN SIDE BOOB like in ME1, but that's really as far as it needs to go. Hell, you could get a similar effect with just shadows. Me2's had more emotional investment, and better writing though people like to deride the headbump and the hahaimwearinamaskunderthismaskcannothave. Much more substance. The exception would be the grinding on the floor of a room filled with machinery and windows... But I guess for that character, it fit.

Maybe they'll find a decent way to successfully blend the elements of both in the upcoming game.

I think I like ME2 scenes, but I love ME1 scenes more. Guess you're not alone. I prefer more romantic & erotic scenes over pure hotness.
