I don't know why people are so alarmed by the scenes of The Witcher 2, they are having sex. I don't know what kind of relationship this characters have... but the scene with that woman Triss, I think, was very passionate and it didn't look like cheap sex.

The question isn't if it is cheap. The question is why is why is it necessary to be naked or half naked even. Romance works with clothes on. Sex and love is not the same thing anyway. I really think it is not necessary in any game. Not in Witcher, not in DA, not in ME. I mean come on, we are in the internet. Don't people know how to find porn in the internet? It adds nothing to the game, not a thing. Whoever thinks different has a wrong idea of love, romance, etc.

ME 2 love scenes were better than ME 1

I'm just giving Liara in LotSB as an example. If I get something like that in ME3 too I am fine with it.

No thanks. That scene confuses the crap out of me. Did they actually have sex, or did Shep just touch Liara's butt? I don't get it!

Strange topic conversations.

Indeed. So, do you support alien penis in ME3?

As long as the turians' are retractable like with cats, sure.

Of course. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Does it matter? I am not only talking about that one scene alone anyway. It is the whole romance related stuff in LotSB.

The Australian ratings board says that there are sex scenes in ME3 as well as ME1, but don't mention them in ME2. Though they don't mention them for DA:O either, so I'm not sure what to conclude there

I am not saying they can't have sex, I am saying I don't need to watch them.

I look at sex in video games thusly:

It's kind of like going to a strip joint, sure you can see lots of wonderous things, but you really can't touch and it amounts to a giant tease. You're not hitting it.

On the flip side of that, sex between characters in the game actually serves a purpose story wise (or should), and adds emotional context between the characters. Where you don't get that at a ****** bar.

ME2 and DA2's scenes were better than ME1 and DAO imo because they were unique to each character, in the first games it was always the same scene.

This. Although ME1's was fine, IMO. Then again, DA2's scenes while unique, were generally before, *CUT*, after .

You assume to much, your definition of love and romance are not the same for everyone... making love and having sex are, of course, different things. Don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was necessary... you can see if they love each other by different ways, making love is one.

Do I consider it necessary? No, but as I said before, is a way of showing it.

I personally prefer the build-up of the romance, than, the climax of it.

Do you not have sex with your romantic partner? Is it an either or thing for you?

Because there was no sex scenes in DAO, it was horrible dry humping with music that did not fit the scene at all. The worse fact is it does not fade to black unlike say the Isabela scene from DA2 that was awesome because it was done well and faded to black at the best time so I can head canon how the scene went and then fades back with Izzyputting her corset on.

DAO scenes where just

Exactly. It is one way. There are many. So why use the most controversional one? Nobody is NOT buying the game because of lack of sex scenes. But people may not buy because it has some. Not saying that I advocate it or anything. Just wondering why would Bioware use sex scenes then? Doesn't make sense on the business level.

See, this is the problem. They are making love. Why is that controversial?

Can people please stop assuming i'm talking about nudity?

Thanks.

All it proves is that despite how people probably look at sex they still want to bring down (demonize) the person who even comes close to talking about the things they envision.  And if anyone doubts that statement I only have to point in the direction of the porn industry.

Well but some people are religious and stuff. Don't drag me in this kind of discussion. I am not supporting it, just saying that it is so.
