Someone told me that EDI was going to get a romantic body and become a love interest for Joker.  And then gets destroy trying to defeat a indoctrinated James Vega.   I was wondering is all or some of that true ? if someone who got ahold of the leaks could at east confirm this was in the leaks I'd be grateful.

If any of that is true how would you guys/gals feel ?  I know some of you must be happy at the aspect of Joker getting a LI.

Never read anything about Vega, but the first part is true, more or less. It's not like she gets thebody to romance Joker.

Just a rumor. The way it was explained to me the two were fighting and crashed a shuttle EDI and Vega are flung from the wreckage and start to fight but the shuttle explodes damaging EDI. She gets up and fights Vega but he destroys her.

It's all just a rumor I was told.  I asked to be told one shocking thing, they chose well but I want to see if someone else heard or came across the same thing.  Of course we'll never really know they're changing the game to make up for the leaks I hear.

Yep. Her body loosely mimics a human one at best.

Though, I must really question what went through some people's minds when they built that body.

Though, I must really question what went through some people's minds when they built that body.

I didn't see anything of her.
But if she got designed after TIM's (dead???) girlfriend, then I'm sure he tried to make her as life-like (and functional) as possible.

I don't mind this, but it's also creepy. AND it adds an interesting question: is Shepard still human or a (even more) advanced android? We saw blood and organs in the intro, but what if that Shepard never left the base but his android double?

No, it's him. All he needs to worry about is implant rejections.

A Cyborg is a combination of organic and non-organic parts. An Android is a robot that is humanoid in its shape.

And the idea of her being Joker's LI is preposterous (and yes, I did just want to use that word in a sentence.)

According to the beta leak and the file that I read it is not edi but a another cerberus creation sent there to steal prothean data files on mars.

I have some sheps wangsting about feeling like a VI. I'm pretty sure Cerberus brought back Shep though...or something as close to Shep as they could find.

So is that part true? Bad taste, Bioware. Oh, and I suspect that the "girlfriend" that she resembles is the one in the comics that explained the born of TIM

As far as I know, EDI uses a body of an Cerberus made female robot at some point in the story.
That bot seems to be modelled after TIM's ex (or dead) girlfriend / lover / partner.

But don't know more and I have no idea if that's true in the final game.

It's a creepy thought. But fits to TIM. After all, he wants not to get in contact with any living person ... why not creating an 100% loyal android that also can fulfill the needs of a man?

Creepy.

Sounds like a nerd phantasy if you ask me, but no one asks me, so ... nevermind.
