Well I always was disappointed Andromeda didn't pursue the Harper/Rommie thing. So i'll probably be supporting Joker/Edi. Though i do see some problems of an android with super strength and a human with weak bones or whatever.

Apparently she will be a romance for joker unless Shepard tells "Eva" to not pursue it or you 'crush' jokers fantasy or something then there is a part where Eva can kill the VS where Vega stand up to her and she replies something along the lines of " I would not hurt the crew, Kaidan/Ashley was not part of the crew"

But that's pretty much it in the spoiler section or what I got from it but i am hoping that they scraped this idea since the leaked stuff is pretty old.

Which is imo the worst thing BW could do to EDI!bot.

The VS -was- part of the crew and actually still is. A shore leave for medical care does not remove someone from the crew list, am I right?
It appears as if Shepard is not able to interrupt EDI in that scene, so better not bring her or say good bye to Kaidan or Ashley Fist-style.

You should better leave Garrus at the ship to. Because he will act exactly the same way in this situation.

That's new to me. I heard Garrus and Tali will act the same way, but you -can- interrupt them.

Seriously - better go alone with no treacherous squadmates. Lets pick Joker and Chakwas instead, they're loyal AND they won't shot the VS. :?

Okay, you need to bring two squadmates, so I hope I can pick Liara and Vega or some other guy who doesn't shoot the VS on sight. (Funny: now I need Liara to save the VS' life!)

That's smart.

No, nothing like that.

Spoiler:

She gets daddy issues Miranda-style instead.

About EDI and VS: during the confrontation, Shepard might persuade VS to go against Udina. If s/he fails, things get critical - VS directly warns that s/he will pull a trigger right now. Then there is an interrupt: renegade one, I think, resulting in Shepard shooting VS. If interrupt isn't taken, one of Shepard's team would do that - I've seen lines like "I'm sorry, Garrus. This shouldn't be on you. I hesitated. I shouldn't have".

Okay, I keep it that way.
And will make sure the VS survives. I mean, can't be that difficult - like the issue with Wrex on Virmire.

She's recalling Evas memories with TIM which probably include any feelings that she experienced. Memory isn't tied directly to programming.

And here lies my issue.

AIs are programs, they might be self aware, but they're still just hardware. No organic matter = no chemical reactions = no emotions.

A Booty-Bot might be programmed to simulate emotions like "wuv" but a Warship AI is not. No matter the memories that exist on the hard drive EDI is not programmed to simulate the same range of emotions as a love-bot.

If these memories *DO* affect EDI's programming or corrupt her systems then she's a security risk and a threat to the entire crew. If this is the case, then there should be an option to leave the android inactive.

Well I always was disappointed Andromeda didn't pursue the Harper/Rommie thing.

It's funny, the whole reason i liked Andromeda as a series is because they never got Rommie to go Booty-Bot. She's a Warship, her entire existence is a case of "Protect your Captain, protect your crew".

It seems so. Everyone has some sort of issue.

Ashley: Granddaddy and Daddy issue.

Miranda: Major Daddy issue.

Jacob: Daddy Issues.

Tali: Major Daddy issues.

Thane: Is a daddy with son issues.

Morinth: Mommy Issues

Liara:Mommy issues and daddy issues.

Grunt: puberty!

Edi is just joining the crowd.

I figured there would be more creative ways to signal EDI approaching sentience. Instead it appears we will be having EDI take a human form and do pilates around the Normandy.

I wonder if they're going to model her off of the comic Eva or Tricia Helfer. I also wonder if there will be any Wall-E references with Eve-ahhh.

It's stating a fact. >.>

Didn't Colonist Shepard know his father until everyone was killed or enslaved? 'cause that's a "my family was murdered" issue, not a daddy issue.

Orly? "My daddy is either murdered and decomposing or is a slave somewhere out in the Terminus" sounds like an issue to me.

It's a package deal; "My family has either been murdered or is a slave in the Terminus" is the issue.

If it weren't for the implication that Shepard's family died in an artillery strike, that would make an awesome Colonist side mission.
