I hope that it is IMPOSSIBLE to save EVERYBODY, but I want it POSSIBLE to save ANYBODY! That would be another way to promote replays and make each of our various Shepards unique.

Who am I going to kill? Shepard. There is no happy ending for our hero. He dies the final death, saving the known galaxy from the Reapers. He becomes an immortal symbol for Humanity. That's how a hero should die, IMO. Die when he's on the top of his game, doing what he does best. None of this fade away crap.

Too much of that crap in every other story. Go read that if you want that. Final sacrifice for the sake of it is stupid.

What have you read? I wont say it if you havent read it... but the geth do some very questionable things. Even Legion disagrees with it to some extent.

So you would side with the geth who are helping the ******* in comitting
genocide of a race? You would kill millions of innocent people?
Children even? For what? The Geth have proven many times that they are
succeptible to being mindcontrolled, so they are a liabilty. Also, if
the quarians are able to defeat the geth alone, that kind of proves
their worth.  You can have your own opinion on whos at fault but the way ME3 apparently plays out.. I feel like theres no reason to side with the geth.

huh?  we must have been playing a different game casue they were anything BUT punching bags in ME2.  VS on the other hand..

on to OP, I'm not sure how your obvious choice are in any way obvious.

One thing I'm sure of - there will be a potential death for everyone.  it might be a difficult to achive death for someone like Liara (think Miranda in suicide mission who was practicaly unkillable even as unloyal), but the option to kill them off will be there.

what we are not 100% sure of is scripted unavoidable deaths.  if those do happen - they are more likely to happen for non-LI characters.  though even LI's are not immune.  Bioware can be cruel at times.

P.S.  if its impossible to save everybody, not only my personal desire to replay the game is basicaly nill - it will pretty much guarantee me never buying another bioware game new again.  Virmire was more then enough.

I'd be happy enough with this so long as who dies is not limited to a choice between the same two characters each time.

Even though I love these characters. They just didn't make the "SAVE AT ALL COSTS!" cut. What can I say I guess I subconsciously hate the starting squadmates of the ME games.......that doesn't bode well for Vega... good luck winning my subconscious over newbie

I don't wanna start something, but I'm curious why you picked 4 humans to "sacrifice first" - even if you love them?
