Even though I love these characters. They just didn't make the "SAVE AT ALL COSTS!" cut. What can I say I guess I subconsciously hate the starting squadmates of the ME games.......that doesn't bode well for Vega... good luck winning my subconscious over newbie

I don't wanna start something, but I'm curious why you picked 4 humans to "sacrifice first" - even if you love them?

My "first to sacrifice" list contains humans and aliens alike.

Because I'm EVIL!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  

Actually the main reason for these (Mainly the VS) is because of spoiler reasons I won't state. the other than that. meh. idk. I love the characters but these are the only ones I wouldn't be heart broken about dying. I mean if the VS had a scripted death i'd be upset but it wouldn't hit home really because I've already nuked both of them across multiple playthroughs giving me an almost "huh they died....... that's kinda sad.....well it's not like that hasn't happened before..." feel.

As for them being all humans. idk, I just seem to like the aliens more.

Who would you kill off? I feel like I'd agree with yours for the most part.

From what I've read so far, the amount of b!tching from VS is so epic, that I might be tempted.
Other then that, I wish to remake Liara's plot armor into Normady upgrade. 

ME3 is supposed to be about the war, so I'm all about angst-fiilled moments of impending doom and pointless, heroic and accidental deaths (including Shepard).

I have no plan to kill anyone, but should a Virmire-like scenario arise or another situation where I cannot convince someone the first to go would be Liara and Garrus, the last to go Ashley, Kaidan and Miranda.

Hm let's see. Nothing from spoilers, just thoughts. At worse:

Mordin and Wrex and Grunt will probably get along if we cure the genophage. if not we may have to killl Wrex and Grunt. Mordin could die during the mission. Could probably get them to agree through talk checks to save both.

Miranda might rejoin Cerberus if they get at her sister. Might have to kill Miranda. Could probably save her sister or convince Miranda that mission is more important through check.

Tali/Legion could probably die in quarian/geth conflicts. Might have to kill one of them. Could probably get both to agree through a very high check, or fight along one side.

VS/Liara/Vega could probably get indoctrinated. VS because of mysteries of horizon and Vega is very inexperienced. Might have to kill them. Probably can un-indoctrinate them somehow.

Thane can die because of sickness. Probably can get cured. Might have to mercy kill as someone pointed out.

Morinth could get into trouble with asari. Might have to kill her. Will probably have to kill a few asari commandos and justicars to avoid her death, have a little bad relationship with asari, if Morinth won't just dominate them for Shepard, or any other leaders for that matter.

Garrus might be somewhere with the turians trying to safe his family. Could probably die during attempt. Might have to kill him if abandon them.

Jacob/Zaeed/Kasumi/Jack seem more off the hook. Don't see their weaknesses, more like choices and morals that could affect them.

Of course maybe anyone can die during missions depending on choices.

Joker can probably crash normandy. Maybe can be ordered to suicide crash.

Edi could get a virus. Might have to destroy her.

So yeah. A lot of possibilities there.

My personal choices - Will not sacrifice Zaeed, will support the Geth and will not sacrifice Morinth. These 3 I can inconvenience myself for. Others might probably sacrifice.

Guys I can sacrifice more easily than others are (in no order):

- Jack (Meh - I like her, but she's not on my fav list)
- Samara (if her death means something)
- Kaidan (I had to leave him on Virmire for Ash, but actually, I wish I could save both)
- Vega (Sorry, Aurora - I think I'm going to like him, but he's the new guy. If I have to, I'll sacrifice him for the mission)
- Thane (Awesome guy. I'm not sure if I have the time for searching a cure)
- Liara (She's not on my top list to sacrifice - I think I'll sacrifice her only for a really good reason (the mission) - or Ashley. Besides that I want her to get through)
- Zaeed (His death will be awesome: not because of the death but how he does it. Taking at least a Reaper with him.)

So to speak.

I'll try to get as much as guys alive through the game, but those are more or less the guys I can spare. Doesn't mean I want to - or will try to kill them.

Would only sacrafice Shepard if I was certain everything after that would go as planned.

It's funny, that everyone is repleceable - but not Shepard. Hence the Lazarous Project.
For him/her dying before fulfilling his purpuse... well, talk about tragic and pointless. (Council: "Shepard's dead! Who else are we going to airquote and ignore, until the very last minute?! We're dooooomed!" ). 

It's a good thing to think about: Is universe able to survive the war with Reapers, without Shepard?

Although I have my love of some characters over others, there are none that I'd sacrifice if I had a choice.

My save list:

1. Kaidan, I would do anything not to get him killed unless it's involving children and puppies.
2. Jack, just love her character.
3. Miranda, I hated her at first but now she's one of my favourites.
4. Legion, he's just awesome.I would save him.
5. Wrex, heck it's Wrex need I say more?

This is my list of those who I would choose to die if it was a VS situation.

1. Garrus, I love him but he's not got any conflicts etc. If ME3 changes that then he'll be off this list.
2.Tali, again like her character but I hardly use her. She's sweet. I kinda go towards the Geth although I would want the war to between them to be ended mutually and save both.
3. Liara, again I hardly used her in ME1. I know she's the shadow broker etc but mehh. Depends on who she's up against.
4. Jacob, sorry but...

Again, I really couldnt kill people if I had a choice but I bet there will be at least one VS situation

The only character that I really  want to kill is Udina. For now, I don't have any desire to kill any squadmates.

I expect to kill the VS. They're very loyal to the alliance...and my Shepard no longer feels a political obligation to her species since the Alliance discharged her. That could lead to conflicts in ME3.

Up on the chopping block because I never used them much or only when I had to and I have no big emotional attachment to:

Garrus, Tali, Grunt(sorry boyo, wrex you are not) Mornith, and Jacob,

The rest Ill just wait and see what choices I have. Overall as long as I can keep Kai/Ash, Liara, Wrex, and Legion alive and kicking Ill be content.

Well, I'm loyal to what the council stands for (galactic peace and stability)...and the current council is reasonable enough, imo (at least the asari and the salarian).
