I don't expect to kill the VS, but I might if need be. And my own Shepard is loyal to galactic life as a whole; the Council just happens to cover a majority of that, more than the Alliance.

Well, I'm loyal to what the council stands for (galactic peace and stability)...and the current council is reasonable enough, imo (at least the asari and the salarian).

I can't say that I completely agree. Especially on the salarian. Not that I'm against them or the Council (at least not my main Paragade Shepard). But the Alliance, despite what happened in ME2, has my Shepard's loyalty, at least because they are the one that protect humanity in the galaxy. I'll protect the galaxy, but my Shepard's main objective is to save humanity. No matter how idiotic the Alliance higher ranks were in ME2.

Who would you kill off? I feel like I'd agree with yours for the most part. 

Guys I can sacrifice more easily than others are (in no order):

- Jack (Meh - I like her, but she's not on my fav list)
- Samara (if her death means something)
- Kaidan (I had to leave him on Virmire for Ash, but actually, I wish I could save both)
- Vega (Sorry, Aurora - I think I'm going to like him, but he's the new guy. If I have to, I'll sacrifice him for the mission)
- Thane (Awesome guy. I'm not sure if I have the time for searching a cure)
- Liara (She's not on my top list to sacrifice - I think I'll sacrifice her only for a really good reason (the mission) - or Ashley. Besides that I want her to get through)
- Zaeed (His death will be awesome: not because of the death but how he does it. Taking at least a Reaper with him.)
...

So to speak.

I'll try to get as much as guys alive through the game, but those are more or less the guys I can spare. Doesn't mean I want to - or will try to kill them.

I agree to these myself. except for Liara since she's my canon LI. but for the rest yeah I agree I'd sacrifice them if I HAD to but like you I'll try and save everyone.

Fair enough. I don't see any problems in that, and I don't see the two objectives in opposition. It'd be better if I manage to save both, because I want to save the galaxy too.
