Now that I've looked about... I see that other Mass Effect characters are also wearing high heels into combat...!!!
Samara also has the high heel affliction, while Liara appears to be wearing a low heeled boot.
So why is it that Jack, Ashley, Kasumi, and Tali are able to wear sensible shoes into combat, but Miranda, Samara and Liara are not ?
Ladies... do you have a reply ?

I think I may have an addiction to pain killers now...

Every justicar must earn her uniform over time, and these shoes were made for my by the family of one of the Ardak-Yashi that I had to send to the Goddess. They said the pain would remind me of the pain I had relieved them of...and the pain I had caused them.
These heels really do hurt...and yet...I have felt obligated to bear the pain....as a reminder.
Perhaps...perhaps, I should reconsider...!
