So I pulled an all nighter tonight while studying for a Management final... and once i got done i decided to hop on LIVE for a bit. And after completing an update i was prompted to do the entire Dashboard got a new face!!!

Now i'm sure most of you knew this was gonna happen, and I'm just a little slow on the times... but since I didn't know this was gonna happen I was kinda caught off guard....

I've literally only been navigating the menus for about 3 minutes but I can already tell its gonna take some getting used to. One of the few things however that jumped out to me as being good was that all the Apps are now stored in one place where you can pick and choose which to launch (ESPN, Netflix, etc...)....so you don't gonna LT/RT through 90 different menus... however now everything else besides that seems to be hidden in 90 different menus and subcategories... But this is just my tired 5:30am opinion....

So i was just wonderin what all you kind ladies and gentleman think.. YAY or NAY?!

Not very happy with it. Very spread out with more crap (like facebook) cluttering up the menus and it's just kind of ugly.

I don't like that the ads are so huge especially the one on the home section when the boxes for stuff you actually want (like play the game you've got in the box) are so small.

The quickplay or what ever it's been named will probably be nice but again it gets dwarfed by the ad.

One thing I do like is that your offline friends show with little sheep jumping over their heads cause it's cute but that doesn't really make up for the rest of it.

I like it, it's a nice new look and everything seems a lot more compact... However, I don't like how it only shows like 4 friends in the Social tab even if you have more than 4 on? You have to click the "Friends" tab thing... Erm, yeah. Also, wtf is up with Bing? They should just make it so 360 can actually browse the net with a browser, like the PS3.

It's pretty nice, but I cant tell if I like this or the last one more. When they release more apps like the BBC I-player and Youtube it will be better though.

I like it.

Since I have Kinect, I can just call out whatever I want and get to it ASAP without having to scroll through everything to find whatever it is that it takes forever to get to.

The Bing search thing is cool, but it'd be better if WE ACTUALLY HAD A BROWSER.

So yeah. I found great entertainment Bing searching Mass Effect and looking at every little Mass Effect related thing.

It could with a change in colour I suppose. Not sure what else to change really. It works pretty well already in my opinion.

@Ringo .....lol yea those were the days. I always liked being to have a custome theme AND a seperate custom color for the dashboard popup. but of course they took that away...

Some i think mentioned this earlier... but i think that the more important and more used functions on the dashboard should have much larger icons than the other ones........ and this update has no such thing so that's my biggest dislike at the moment. They are stressing the ads and such wayyyy too much..

It's good, will take some time to get used to it. But overall I like everythin.

Bit of nitpickin. I hate that they changed the 'X' bein eject, and 'Y' bein game details on the main screen. Now 'Y' is eject and 'X' is game details. I've had problems with that all day...

New kinect functions are nice, but the dash seems easier to navigate in someways, worse in others.

I like beacons and roaming profiles, those are very helpful. Particularly because I own two Xbox units.

Its not even that long ago it changed....

Its fine, but the other one was fine, now i just have to get used to a new one. I just wish they'd stop faffing about changing it and let it be.
