I just purchased a didgital copy of Dragon Age:Origins Ultimate Verson for PC through Gamestop download. The game works okay but I had issues with authorizing the DLC that came with the game. I tried all the solutions suggested here in the forum but still couldn't get the DLC to authorize. This is a brand new computer owned for only 2 weeks so there are no issues there.
Then I logged out of my Bioware account and logged in to my son's account and suddenly all the DLC is authorized in game. I know I registered it under the right account but why can't I use it? Also, Is there a way to change the license so I can put it on the correct account?

I have tried to get help at EA but it it impossible to wade through there help system as it's designed to not get you help.
Thanks!

Unfortunately only EA support staff have access to accounts and can change that kind of thing for you. On the site you can use an online chat thing to talk to a tech support staff member hopefully you'll find somebody who knows what they are doing and can switch the DLC to the other account.

Both of you are correct, but what the OP hasn't really gotten clearly in mind is that Bioware doesn't monitor the forums for general interactive response, only for whatever specific thing they have a current interest in. This place is just the game players, discussing things with each other, no matter that the name on top is misleading.

The forum description following that title is self-explanatory, but people skip past that too quickly.

The only real problem I've seen with the newer EA Help site organization is that DA:O has been made subordinate to DA2, and is found by choosing the "wrong" game to look things up under.

Okay.....(insert big sigh here). I can play the content but I have to log on as my son then log off and play off line. Unfortunately I have to do this every time I play as it disappears every time I close the game. I suppose I will try Moondoggie's chat idea then if it doesn't work, a stern email to EA written by a 50 year old grandma who has nothing to lose. Thanks for getting back so quickly, I love BioWare!

Thanks for all your help Gorath and Moondoggie! I talked to EA and they got back within the same day and after a few exchanged emails, the problem is solved. I didn't get exactly what I wanted out of the deal as I bleeped it up to much on my side but I got a solution that works. You both rock and I look forward to reading and hearing more from you!

Sure glad that you youngsters appreciate us old timers so much (Moondoggie being neither "old" nor a fixture here since the start, I suppose I should think up some other generic term that would fit).
