Once things are up and running is there a concensus on a site to host your work?
Where to download mods from?

The idea was to use this site. However, there are a few things that are needed to make this site really usable - at the least make it as usable as NWVault was for NWN mods.
First and foremost there has to be a way to find things.... as it is, the "Projects" are a mess - everything jumbled together - there is no way to list just completed mods (they are mixed in with the "work in progress" - there is no way to get "play ready" mods, ore "builder to builder" content - it is mixed up.
I really hope BioWare will fix this soon, because otherwise people will host their stuff elsewhere.

I agree Adinos. I hope that it does get cleaned up and organized a bit. NWN Vault revamped it's functionality as time went on. I hope that this network does the same.

Is there a Dragon Age Vault? I really liked their format. Anything less than that is going to be disappointing. I like this site in general, but it is not very well suited for organizing a lot of custom content.

I emailed Maximus from NWVault, and he said there are no plans for it at the moment.

We're planning to host our module here. Three reasons - this is where players congregate, it's protected by EA's Terms of Service, and there's a structured discussion format for modules.
Agreed, better search facilities will be needed as modules start to appear.

If there's demand for it, I'm thinking of perhaps organising a Dragon Age mods section for Spellhold Studios or creating a new community, as well as hosting mods on here. If only because I like having mod forums and all that jazz.

*votes for Spellhold Studios* I love that place like a second home to me..though im a ghost there. May change that very soon though, great folks abound there for modding *nods*

How can there be sites at IGN dedicated to Matrix Online and Tabula Rasa but not DAO?

because Bioware expressely stated that they wanted to keep the community in one place, this place being the social site.
