Look who's talking. :P

This is one of my nicknames. "i" is just a screw up from my part. I don't remember the exact reason why it happened.

You ever go to a site and sign up but when you enter a name its taken,so you try another that is taken, and another taken, and so on so forth. Then finnaly you give up and enter whatever comes up next into you mind? Yea this is how I got this name.

Yah lol, I started the thread with irony in mind. I was inspired by the numerous queries about it.
I see, I see. I've always wondered how the hell you prnounce that. So it's Tu-pex? Tup-ex? Tup-threex? You should have stuck with Anarion.

Samesies! Except your approach was a lot more elegent than smoshing the keyboard. (not sure that's a word) Still, one wonders why fire and blowing was the first thing that came to your mind.

It was a title I was granted for doing Combat with a Russian Submarine crew made up of olympians. The horror...so much horror....not a piece of cake anywhere on that ship..

On a side note thats actully how the Kursk was sunk.

Have answered this one several times in the past, but I took my User name from the Dragon in Wagners opera Gotterdammerung. The spelling is not correct but the pronunciation is the same.

There's pretty simple explanation for that. I use Tup3x for games mainly (MMO's are exception ,though). It's basically a mix of real life nickname (Tupe) and family name (assuming that 3 is b; "i" obviously has no meaning in his case since it's BSN specific screw up).

Gespenst is the German word for ghost, but that's not where I got my name from, it came from these little guys:

Image IPB

Gespenst is the name for a series of grunt (and sometimes not so Grunt) mechs from the Super Robot Wars series... ah. Most of you have probably never heard of it...

There we go.

It's one of my favourite robots ever...

The original (...sort of, it's complicated)

They wanted me to pick a name. I just plucked something out of thin air. I chose Omega because it sounds cool and is Mass Effect-related and Torsk because of Urdnot Torsk... I mean seriously, WHO IS THAT GUY!?!? Lol

My username started as my initials mixed with a string of random letters, plus "dragon" at the end. It was only after I hit submit that I realized I could have just put "jackal" instead of the mess I made. But the mess stuck, because it was easier to remember somehow. ;p

So if you see a Jackkel or Jackkel Dragon somewhere, that's either me or someone who got to the site before I could (I have a jackkel dragon99 somewhere because the name was *taken*).

It originally was VitaEx, on an entirely different forum. I was watching the DVD of the show ROME. On the trivia track, it said the latin word for master was "Dominus". I enjoy all things dark/macabre, and the name had just the right sound to it. So I threw out the "eX" and plugged them together. Vita happens to mean vitality, so you could either interpret it as Master of Blood, or Master of Life.
