The cerberus armor from ME2 is pretty ugly, but in the comic they look nice enough.
Remember also I think this is the artist's interpretation, meaning its probably stylized. But after hearing a few people think it looks nice then I agree too.

That
a first. The first I ever heard someone say this is better when related
to comics in the ME universe. Most people think the comics are subpar. I
don't really care if its ME fiction I want to know more about the ME
universe. What so great about the Cerberus Armor any way in the comic,
is it the fully reflective visor?
That's one of them.
And
for some reason, I think it makes Shepard look fat. All the logos are
annoying too. Why not stamp a sign on the back that says "I'M WITH
CERBERUS LOL" while you're at it?
I just never
liked that you can see Shepard's face through the helmet. It makes it
look like his head is in a box. If I'm wearing a full helmet, I want a
Master Chief look, where you can't see who's behind the mask.
If I remember correctly, when Bioware was still brain storming the ME universe they thought about originally allowing soldiers and Shepard to allow visors that covered the face. But got rid of it because they thought it would make it as interactive as talking to a wall. While a have to disagree with that statement and that we don't always need hints that a person is talking like the lights on Spec Ops mask, yeah I agree visors should be reflective or at least you should be able to customize it in ME3 like material for armor.
