Why is the bonusdisc on blu-ray BioWare, since the soundtrack won't work?

Contact EA support as they have instructions to provide you with a solution.
The blu-ray requirement is a Sony one. The box should clearly have indicated it as such - if it does not this was an error in the box art that wasn't caught.
And a friendly note that you are welcome to discuss your views and grievances as always, but talk of pirating anything will not be allowed on the forums.
What "pirating" are you reffering to? He paid for the soundtrack therefore he is entitled (and has a legal right) to possess a copy of the soundtrack. In other words downloading it from the internet or getting it from a different source is perfectly legal.
Bioware/EA on the other hand is breaking the law, because the infomation regarding the soundtrack placed on the box is false and people purchasing the collector's edition are not being informed that you need a PC blu-ray player to actually enjoy the content you paid for.
Bioware should allow PS3 Collector editon buyer to download the soundtrack from the PSN via codes or think of a similar solution.
I wish they would or allow us to download it from this site as an apology for the false information they are lucky not to be sued

This isn't the first time something like this has happened and it won't be the last no matter what we do. I know it sounds negative but it's the reality of the matter. If a solution comes along then so be it but don't waste your time complaining any longer. I'm sure a few people who could resolve the issue has seen this thread so I'm sure it's been noted people aren't happy. If it wasn't for the fact the PS3 doesn't have that many decent RPG's I wouldn't have bothered with dragon age simply because EA has it's fingers in biowares hole, but I'm glad I did, even with it's faults it's still a quality product.
Yeha u got a point but I think its no need to give up! We have paid for it and either they fix it or they give some sort of refund for the fact they have lied regarding the soundtrack.

Don't buy Dell! They are the biggest con artists in the business. They use second hand components in new machines and call it being Eco. Gimps!

I want what I paid for. Shafting your loyal customers who buy the more expensive collector's edition is probably not a good idea Bioware/EA.

but everyone that bought the collectors edition on ps3 and that doesn't have a BD player in their computers (which I hardly think is many people) has this problem..
I still haven't recived any word from EA regarding this matter..
Is it possible for people who have brought the same stuff and has got lied to in the same way to mass sue the company? If they don't wanna give us the proper treatment why should we do the same?
We got the legal rights on our side as the box states DVD, they enver ever wnet out anywhere to state you have to have a BD player in your PC to get the soundtrack.
Its false advertisement and that can be sued as far as I know ?
My problem is my english is no way vlose to be able to attack EA with this kind of stuff =)
and I still hope they can get their sh*t togheter and solve this the proper way
oh btw, everyone that is not yet giving up! help out spread this to various gamingzites
Ive mailed this issue to ign.com, giantbomb.com and swedish mag gamereactor.se
now since they are rather big zites I don't think they will write about EA's lame messup without having more people telling them what's happening..
I wrote about what has happeend and gave them a link to this thread so they can look it up themselves.
spread the word!
and also Bioware, we would need your help against EA so they can sort this out, we know its not your fault! but if u maybe could give them som direction on how to solve this issue so that we that has paid for the OST and can't use it could in some way legally maintain the soundtrack from them..
with all uniqe register numbers on games etc. today there shouldn't be too hard for them to actually fix this for us.
just give us a PSN voucher and we get them directly from the PSN store

Anyone with some common sense would know that people want the soundtrack to be able to listen to when away from the PS3 and most people don't have a blu-ray player on their PC or in their car.

I found this article on the help.dragonage.com site, which was posted on Kotaku.
The Kotaku article is here:http://kotaku.com/54...trackps3-issues
And the EA/BioWare article is here: http://help.dragonag...p?p_faqid=23809
Per Kotaku: "they give you the downloadable version of the collectors edition bonus content over the EA Downloader, and it includes the soundtrack."
Hope that helps you guys!

Ok i can understand sony requiring the extra's disc to be bluray, but then why wasn't the soundtrack coded to be able to run on the PS3's bluray drive?
