Why is the bonusdisc on blu-ray BioWare, since the soundtrack won't work?

Oh wait. they've given me a digital version but it's only the normal not deluxe... Let's see if they give me my sound track now.

For those looking for the live chat I myself couldn't locate it on the website so I did quick google search and came across this, support.ea.com/chat which directs me to the livechat service I'm currently 14 minutes and counting till speaking to one. Will post back if there is a success.

The e-mail support is horrible I've had a open question since shortly after release of the game.

Was hoping you could assist me with an issue regarding the Soundtrack for DAO. I don't own a bluray drive on my laptop to rip it from. I've read on biowares forum that you may be able to give me an option to download it with the information provided since it was advertised as a DVD and not a bluray. I posted a question here over two days ago with no response which I'm very displeased with, though this isn't the first time I've had issues getting a response from EA support but past experience aside I'm saddened I've had to go to such lengths and wait such a period to have this issue corrected. To actually get my hands on something I paid for.

All i can say is if you bought it second hand because of the soundtrack like me YOU GET SCREWED BY THIS COMPANY!!! now i just purchased a blu ray drive and i'm sending them the bill jackasses

That is atrocious. Try Live Chat again? I guess it's luck of the draw getting someone who can actually understand you. I spoke to three different people and none of them were native English speakers.

Seriously Rage this is so common you wouldn't believe. I recently stopped playing Ultima online because of the way EA treats it's customers on that game and this and I'm not exaggerating is nothing. Really, this is nothing.

I just got off with the CSR on Live Chat they provided me with the download manager link and within it once signed into my account was the Soundtrack/Deluxe Edition Wallpaper/ Deluxe Edition PC Version. You'll get more results VIA live chat then anything else. Only advice I can personally give is be polite, and patient.

I wasn't quite happy because mine was used probably because the original owner handed it back in probably because of this very reason. He did not even register it to this site when i bought it i did. Seriously if you buy yours second hand (used) you get screwed by this people.

Now the advert and the packaging said that the bonus disc was DVd instaed it was bluray .. ok no problem as its Ps3 however , as read on the forums The ps3 is unable to play the soundtrack. Is this going to be fixed I find it very poor to be able to listen to a soundtrcak I have to have a bluray player on a PC... when I have a perfectly good player on my Ps3.



Please can you contact me asap with the plan, fix details as the soundtrack was the main reason for paying an extra £10 for the CE edition"

Hmm don't think they bothered to read it .. Or as suspectedEnglish is not primary language. Anyhow got the DL soundtrack code yesterdya via live chat so happy. But will never buy from EA again.

haha, I got the same thing as the other guy! they link the soundtrack too my account but I can't access EADM since I don't have the product key for DragonAge Origins since I bought the ps3 version of the game not tne pc-version
WTF is this?

Oh if they activated it on your account then when you log in it should appear without the code. It didn't appear for me at first because I was already logged in before he linked a copy to my account. You can ask for the code but it's really just to link it on your Forum account.

I couldn't manage to get to the download of EADM installer but I contacted EA support again and was sent a link where I could get the installer directly.

I got the Soundtrack now actually! Solved, finally.

as long as u have the EADM installer no product key is necessary the problem is they forget to get u a direct link to the EADM installer. As soon as I got that one I logged onto EADM and there the soundtrack was =)



Im amased how poor they run this though, there is no info on how to obtain the soundtrack whatsoever anywhere unless u find this thread.

Now this is irritating , the soundtrack is now available from amazon or itunes , and I still have'nt heard back from EA support about not being able to play my CE soundtrack because it's on a Bluray disk and getting the download....

This is retarded. I was trying to get Bioware to respond to my questions since last month and I never got a response... So I was to know that I needed to come here in order to figure out what was going on?! I completely was driven mental that Bioware of ALL companies wouldnt provide help on their support site! So I need not to talk to the company that made the game but EA and find out the solution for the soundtrack. What about all the other questions I had for Bioware?! Do I need to go find forums on all subs/ make them in order for Bioware to pay me any mind? I'm pissed... I buy anything Bioware and I go to their support section on their DA site and get no response and feel like they enjoy spitting on their fans! Maybe once I calm down more I look around, but Bioware: If you make a bloody support page, AT LEAST CHECK IT!!! I love you guys, but you got me on the chip right now... I almost dont even care anymore... I was ready to just say F-it! I wont Buy Mass Effect 2 or the comic though I have ME1 and the books/ audio books, so I was Bio-fan-ing it +5. I org came here to say my final piece and let people know not to contact Bioware, due to how useless it is and I find a Bio-guy in here...

Guess Im going to write EA then.
