EARepAustin: Hi, my name is EARepAustin. How may I help you?
: DLC codes: ***PSN: ***
EMail: ***
Was hoping you could assist me with an issue regarding the Soundtrack for DAO. I don't own a bluray drive on my laptop to rip it from. I've read on biowares forum that you may be able to give me an option to download it with the information provided since it was advertised as a DVD and not a bluray. I posted a question here over two days ago with no response which I'm very displeased with, though this isn't the first time I've had issues getting a response from EA support but past experience aside I'm saddened I've had to go to such lengths and wait such a period to have this issue corrected. To actually get my hands on something I paid for.
: So can you help? Yay or nay?
EARepAustin: Yes.
EARepAustin: I am sorry for delayed addressing your concern.
EARepAustin: Please allow me for a minute.
EARepAustin: What game do you have purchase.
: Dragon age origins Collectors edition for the PS3
EARepAustin: Do you have the ps3 or laptop.
: I have both
: but it's the PS3 version I purchased
EARepAustin: Where did you have purchase the game.
: I have the game with me now if that's what you were asking... I bought it through GAME.co.uk
EARepAustin: I'm escalating your issue to our senior support for further investigation.
EARepAustin: You will be contacted through email with in 24 hours with the solution to your problem.
: oh no
: seriously I want it corrected now
EARepAustin: I am sorry for any disappointment.
: I didn't wait 30 mins to get in contact with you and then 10 minutes between each line of conversation from you to get told that I'll have to wait 24 hours which will never come to get this corrected
: I'm not happy what so ever and your apologies isn't good enough
: I want to know what is the issue that it needs to be escalated
EARepAustin: They will contact to you with proper resolution
EARepAustin: Yes.
: no
: I want you to tell me why it has to go to who ever you're sending it to
EARepAustin: I am sorry this will be resolved by our senior level.
: what?
: I'm asking why you can't solve it
EARepAustin: I am sorry for the disappointment.
: Please answer my question.
EARepAustin: I can under stand your frustration at this time
: Just answering my question will be fine for now if you don't mind.
: Why won't/can't you solve my issue at this time?
EARepAustin: I am sorry for any inconvenience caused to you.
EARepAustin: You can download the downloadable content through eadm
EARepAustin: You need to visit to the link and get the download content
http://eastore.ea.com/eadm
EARepAustin: Please provide me your ea e-mail account so I can entitle a new game to you account.
: [email]
EARepAustin: Thank you and allow me for a minute,
EARepAustin: I have gone ahead and entitled the game to your account.
EARepAustin: I would request you to login to EA download manager with your ea e-mail account and your password you should be able to download the game.
: This I have done but I can't do nothing without a product code it seems and does this solve my sound track problem that I originally contacted you for?
EARepAustin: Yes.
EARepAustin: You can download the game from the EA download manager.
EARepAustin: Do you need the cd key of the game.
EARepAustin: I have entitled the game to your account.
EARepAustin: If you need the cd key here it is [Product code]
EARepAustin: Are you there.
: Well I've logged out and logged back in and I can see it. However it's the normal version? That won't have my sound track.
: thank you for the product code
EARepAustin: You can download the download the content using EA DM
: no wait
: I originally bought Dragon age origins collectors edition the PS3 version. What I have contacted you about is the bonus disc that comes with it. It's actually on Bluray but it is advertised as being on DVD. Because of this and the fact I don't own a Bluray drive on my laptop I cannot listen to the soundtrack that is on the bonus disc
EARepAustin: You didn't get the disc?
: no I got the disc but I can't listen to the sound track that is on the disc because I don't own a bluray drive on my PC
EARepAustin: I'm escalating your issue to our senior support for further investigation.
EARepAustin: Take care.
: ??
EARepAustin has disconnected. All I can say is what the ****.

My Mail
"Dear sirs,
I've been directed to your selves from the games official forums. I've purchased a copy of Dragon Age origins for the Ps3 as a Christmas present. It is the CE edition of the game. Now the advert and the packaging said that the bonus disc was DVd instaed it was bluray .. ok no problem as its Ps3 however , as read on the forums The ps3 is unable to play the soundtrack. Is this going to be fixed I find it very poor to be able to listen to a soundtrcak I have to have a bluray player on a PC... when I have a perfectly good player on my Ps3.
Please can you contact me asap with the plan, fix details as the soundtrack was the main reason for paying an extra £10 for the CE edition"
Their reply ..
Thank you for contacting Dragon Age: Origins support, and for your continued patience while we address this issue.
We have discovered that there was an issue with DLC either not being visible or being download correctly on certain console platforms, and we are working to get this addressed as quickly as possible. Please refer to: http://help.dragonage.com for the latest up-to-date developments on this issue, as our 'Hot Topics' list is updated as we investigate and resolve these items as they come up.
