Why is the bonusdisc on blu-ray BioWare, since the soundtrack won't work?

Yeah, I have felt downright scammed all around for getting the collector's edition on PS3. No soundtrack is just one of MANY issues I have, so I won't begin to vent here... I just support what shadowking is trying to communicate.

You mean you want to rip the soundtrack on to your pc?

Is that what you want? Because I do believe you can listen to the soundtrack on the ps3...

Vampyricwolf: It may be a good thing to browse a few pages before posting next time so you don't look like such a noob ok?

It shouldn't be that hard. If you got a PS3 CE, and you contact support, they should send you the DVD that shipped with the PC version, or entitle you to DL.

That is, if you can get the agent to understand you (that chat log you posted is brutal Bagenholt)

Bioware entitled me to a downlaodable version of the soundtrack. I just used the support page and 2 weeks later they enabled my download. Not the fastest service ever, but it worked

Freekin EA - 2 weeks to answer my support request about the soundtrack download , send me a link to their download manager ,say 'install this then download soundtrack from the dragonage options in your game' ,great i think , problem solved and i get my music - No such luck , the download manager starts then it DOESN'T show any of my games , Dragon age or any of my registered Sims game....

I love EA - we'll make you pay $120 dollars for a CE version of a game then make sure you can't actually use part of your special stuff , thankfully a friend ran me off a copy of the soundtrack from his PC collectors edition so i can finally use what I paid for!

I got the same fix but they also enabled wallpapers and a full version of the PC game to download - at 7.9Gb I won't be doing this anytime soon....monthly allowance is only 6Gb.

It's weird coz I got both the normal version and CE version on my account and the normal version is a GB larger than the CE.

Reading through a full 6 pages was not on my "want to do list" at 3:43am, so I skipped a few pages. Suffice to say, I don't know the entire tale of what has transpired, but I have read enough to understand the PS3 version of the soundtrack disc will not play on the PS3.
A message suggesting you "Play this on your PC" is provided, but as the disc is a Blu-Ray, that is not possible for everyone.
I bought the PS3 originally AS my sole Blu-Ray player, so have no desire to buy a "further BR player"
I alas, cannot then listen to the soundtrack which I have paid for and was looking forward to.

Has a solution to this, that does not involve hours of trawling through the forum, become available? And is it a non-technical, easy solution that a "PS3 for Dummies manual user" could cope with?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

A few posts above you, people contacted EA. They appear to give you a link and stuff to download it.
