 So I have dragon age for the PS3 and im looking right the power for the Chasind great maul. Its 12.80. I go on dragon age wiki to fix it (the wiki says its 14.4, which is the power of a typical great axe not a maul). My change lasted for several weeks until two hours ago someone changed it back to 14.4. Is there a tooltip thing im not getting here, or is someone just trolling the maul? (PS this forum has been known to give some very off topic answers so to clarify I am aware of the Maul's unique strength moddifier and my question only pertains to the listed damage, not some sort of altered damage factoring in the higher strength)

You can check the history and talk page on the wiki to see what's going on and chat with whoever it was that undid your change. There are some item differences between console and PC versions, but I don't think the damage values were among those.
