Alien sex. Come on, it's what we're all thinking.

Turian penis? :)

Hordes of them.

But I settle for at least one joke about calibrations.

Which it has.

A story at least on par with ME1, in other words significantly better than ME2.

A PERMANENT KROGAN SQUADMATE! Really, no traditional Krogan ally for the ending of the trilogy?

This. Wrex may be too busy but I'll take Grunt again.

ME2 suffered from Middle Entry Syndrome.

If I'm the commander of the Normany and in a relationship with someone from a previous ME game, they will have residence in my cabin.

Good gameplay, good mp support/servers, good story and an ending that doesn't feel like a cheap cop out.

I'm pretty sure it will have good gameplay as that was the strength of ME2. I wan't a stronger plot this time, and free-form gameplay like we had in the previous two games, where we get to choose what we want to do and when. I also want convincing, well written squad mates, as they seem to have picked the most boring of the lot to star in ME3 ( Kaiden, Liara, Ashely, and the incredible hulk, Vega).

To satisfy me, Mass Effect 3's ending must be drastically affected by the decisions I make during the game. I'm not just talking about who lives or dies - I want it to affect my cutscenes. If I gain the support of the krogans, I want to see them fighting as a result.

It would be nice if the battlefields were more open too.

I want the option to lose.

That if you really sucked at the game or really intentionally picked the wrong choices (ala Suicide mission only one person survives), then you just can't stop the Reapers.

Furthermore, if they make an MMO out of this, I want the option of a "Love Interest" class or skill.

I like this person.  She/He understands.

since we are asking for seemingly impossible things too

ME3 should be greatly influenced by previous choices and have a lot of extra material for those who actually played the previous game or went through the Origin applications thoroughly

I'm sick and tired of Developers catering to the lazy and the stupid

Lack of "Ohhhh look I killed your love interest in a bath of acid. I'll show you this cutscene of you tring to help her as she gets dissolved in the acid screaming. Then some crows come and eat her eyes while she's still alive. Don't you feel a bit sad? Come on. This is supposed to be sad, player. Don't you listen the violin or what?" moments.

You can lose--that information has been confirmed.  Check out this forum for details:
ME3: Known Features [Updated :7th December]

I kinda like the idea of the 'love interest' class.  However, it would be nice if Shepard could also put his/her foot in his/her proverbial mouth every now and then when attempting to charm or intimidate someone.

that's what stat based intimidation/charm were for (and the failure to go through with an action if your stats were too low)

I wish Charm and Intimidate were skills and not crappy Karma/Rep
