Care to explain why you don't want exploration in a self-proclaimed action RPG? :bandit:

Primarily because I consider it one of the weakest elements found in the Bioware RPG, which benefits more from focus than freedom,  typically Bethesda's forte. KotOR and Jade Empire were two great examples of RPGs which got by perfectly fine without free-form exploration. I would prefer if Bioware mimics that set up.

Comparatively speaking, Baldur's Gate 1 and Mass Effect 1 represented Bioware's efforts to delve into exploration, and that's a huge part of why I consider them they're weakest games.

I used to waste days picking games apart, meticulously analyzing them and nitpicking on every little thing I felt could have been done better (read: not done exactly the way I would have liked to see it done, which is the foundation of every complaint you read on any forum anywhere - we're a selfish species). Then I realized that that time would be better spent playing other games, and I haven't looked back since.

ME3 has to provide enough entertainment to justify a €60 price tag. That's the only thing that matters; everything else is window dressing.

If a game not being exactly the way you want it to be and not having everything you want it to have is cause for you to dislike it and rant on a forum about it, you need to find another hobby. There's way too many awesome games out there to warrant wasting your time on sh*t like that.

A booby slider. A booty slider. At least one cheesecake scene with FemShep. Also it has to have a satisfying ending to the Reaper threat. No Upload A Virus. No A Good Reaper Helped. I also need to know why the Reapers do what they do. I need to know their origins, otherwise one of the great villains in a video game turn into mcguffins as lame as the Borg.

^^Basically THIS.
  • i.e. a better character editor like the one in Saints Row:The Third, where you could customise you character's build, clothes, piercings, tattoos, etc.
  • REAL Choices, not this illusion of choice that we've been given the past two games. Planet saving, friendship ending, character killing/saving, whole portions of the game opening up or being locked out-kind of choices.
  • And explanation of why Shepard is so special. Why Shepard was able to receive that Prothean message? Why does Shepard seem to be immune to Reaper indoctrination?
  • Kasumi as a full-time squad member.
  • Seeing Tali's face(she better be cute and/or hot)
  • This "Heavy Melee" class better be awesome.
  • I want my stats to matter this time around. If my stats are maxed out, then I shouldn't die in 3 hits.
  • A satisfying ending to the saga. All loose ends are tied up and explained, and every character gets an Ending,

I won't give a full list since I'm tired, but I will say I want to find out why the Reapers do what they do. Maybe even their origins. Though that last might be a great opportunity for another Mass Effect game.

Having the choices from the previous games have different results and mattering despite the resources needed to do so as well as characters being multidimensional rather than being one-note like turning Udina into a joke character in ME2.

Alien sex. Come on, it's what we're all thinking.

Turian penis? :)

Yes 'cause all species are based off humans. So 'corse Turians have human features.

Yes, 'cause ****** sapiens sapiens are the only species whose male members have a penis.

Also, multiplayer is in. Get over it. I have.

Me, I just want full closure. No cop out cliffhanger endings or undone plot threads.

I was thinking perhaps a bit more extreme of a gesture, namely, shall we say 'flipping him the bird'?  Or two fingers straight up, if you're from the UK.  This would come right after 'I told you b*****s so.'  :D

Lol that would be epic. Though I would also accept "bird" quotes followed by a disconnect.

Or you know, Tali has a shotgun :police:

All it needs to "satisfy" me - is an ending to Shepard and the Reaper storyline.

Yeah - I'm pretty easy to please.

You'll be satisfied. Most of these things are in the game.

Such as? :P

Well...

Actual consequences that have meaning from prior decisions. This means no weak substitutions that cheapen the characters, no sweeping things that should have a big impact under the rug or trivialising them so they don't and vastly different circumstances in at least a few cases instead of the same meat with just a slightly different flavour sauce.

Proper outfits for every squadmate that suit both battle and exploration. No more catsuits, holes and nipple-straps, at least not on battle gear.

Decent RPG elements and customisation. No more God-modding, linear progression systems.

Squad banter and more interactions and dialogue, not just with Shepard but with each other.

Decent exploration and sidequests with proper integration.

Branching and/or more open levels that feel epic.

Armour that actually protects.

At least a few vehicle sections (but not The Hammerhead) in the vanilla game.

More ways to solve missions. More Noveria style places and missions.

More care given to the differences between Male and Female Shepard than before.

A more meaningful XP system that doesn't feel manufactured and hollow. Context and rewarded based on effort instead of set lump sums.

A far better HUD than ME2's. Something more like ME1's (no heads and silly bars).

I never want to feel that melee is a necessity.

More challenging, but not more frustrating.

A decent explanation for "Anderson as Councilor" import players for the retcon.

No deus ex machina ending. No simply ripping off B5 with The Shadows' ending.

No over-explaining the Reapers.

Those, at least.

The squadmate outfits will bring some bonuses, you'll be able to choose from six different evolutions for your powers and weapon customization is providing some pretty interesting mods, most side missions will be a result of a certain event in another mission, there are several ways to solve a mission even if you do screw things up, they tweeted not long ago that femShep will be given some new and subtle animations, melee isn't a necessity unless you're completely out of ammo, with enemies like the Phantom and some that are dropping smoke grenades so you can't lock on them, it'll be more challenging, the health system for Shepard has improved so you have bars that can only be brought back with medi-gel once they're depleted, Anderson quit his job for a reason, there is no deus ex machina and I think the Reapers are explained enough.

There.

You seem to keep forgetting we're talking about the company that brought you the Awesome-button,  I really don't understand why you keep taking them at their word at this point?  Especially considering how DA2's developers kept blaming the gamers for the game's problems,  rather than owning up to their mistakes and failures to deliver.

There's lots of ways to interprate everything in there,  for intsance,  one could claim that ME2's armor gave bonuses,  but they were so insignificant they were meaningless.

See what they deliver,  I've lost faith in anything they claim.  Especially since they still can't be bothered answering "Will MP affect the SP experience" question that's even in their FAQ.

You lost faith? Then why the hell are you still in the forums? Also, Hudson has said that you dont have to have multiplayer implemented in the SP experience if you dont want it to. Also, I think Dragon Age is a different team.

Why stop there? Every woman should be wearing bikinis, while they're in the kitchen cooking Shepard's dinner.

I won’t be satisfied until it is so.

A good story, a decent plot, a good amount of decisions to make some of which should be difficult or morally ambiguous, and have an ending that is befitting the series. The other details are up to BW.

I won't lobby for a specific character to live or be part of the party. For their sanity BW needs to stick to the plan they had and nolt bow to public pressure. I think if they make some serious changes now it would undermine the integrity of the story in ways they might not see right away.

There always have to be perceieved winners and losers as all characters cannot have the spotlight. It happens that way in every other media novels and movies where the creators have to pick and choose their faves and we are just along for the ride. I won't take it personal if my faves are treated badly. People need to appreciate what BW has already given them even if the arc ends in tragedy.

GARRUS F*CKING VAKARIAN!!! but that's a given :)

the possible survival of Shepard, Garrus, Wrex, Mordin, Legion, Tali, Liara, Miranda, Jack, Samara, Kasumi, Grunt, Spoiler, Vega, Anderson, Kal Reeger, Kirrahe, Joker, Gabby and Ken, EDI, Feron, and Thane(but I doubt it) by the end of ME3.

Compelling planets from first games make a return along with new one's. Planets including: Citadel, Tuchanka, Omega, Illium, Earth, Mars, Noveria, Feros, Sur'Kesh, Palaven, Thessia, and Khaje.

More squad banter.

Satisfying conclusion to every squadmate's story, past and present.

Non-full squadmates given 1 or several missions a la Shadow Broker style

Amazing story.

Reaper questions answered

Cerberus involvement with reapers revealed.

Companions and crew moving throughout the Normandy. Ship feels alive

Squadmates talk to each other on board Normandy.

Awesome Combat and Superb RPG elements with Story driving the experience
