I'd LOVE to see what they'd do for this

other than that: The Jersey Shore. Seriously.

Also, make the invasion start at the BioWare headquarters in Edmonton. So meta.

PS: and have a cutscene where Bobby Kotick is abducted just for the lolz

He is very much dead from old age by the time ME3 comes around. Unless you're one of those people who thinks he's Darth Sidious.

OP, allow me to say this nicely. F*** NEW YORK. I'm sick to death of every single game having New York in it. Not to mention movies. It would be brilliant to show cities around the world aside from New York. And for those of you coming to rush in to the defence of NYC, chill out. Sometimes people get sick of the same old air biscuits when it comes to NYC appearing in everything.

London, Sydney, perhaps somewhere in Russia or the Far-East. Varied locations would be nice. Yep yep.

And yet strangely this Brit feels the same way about London. There is more to the UK than London, effing London. Show us Edinburgh, Swansea, Hull, anywhere but Lunnon taaaaaaaaaan.

Agreed. (except for the Hull part. I'm not sure the Reapers will even bother invading Hull :D)

I live in Bath and I think it would be a fantastic location for ME3. Some crazy architecture over here. To be honest though, I'll take anywhere in the UK, including London.

Rural Kent. It deserves to be blown up and it's population be annihilated, I'm telling you :D

I think NY as a disaster location has become a cliche. Crysis 2, CODMW3, Battlefield 3 and every other game or movie has been using it. Any other place of beauty or cultural importance would be fine.

I wanna see what Tokyo and Japan look like 150 years in the future, I imagine it will look really sci-fi like. And with even more neon. I imagine that China and Japan will probably be the most developed countries in that time frame anyway.

It has but their is a reason behind it. NYC represnets many things to many people and many cultures, I'm pretty sure if yous asked some random person from around the world they would know what NYC is.

Only two cities are Alpha ++ class (the highest category so far), NYC, and London. But that more than likely would change in the ME universe. Here is a link about Global Cities and classes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_city

Well, it represents many things to many people who live there.  But go around the world and most people will probably be as indifferent to it as they would to any big city in the world they never actually deal with; it's not like it's some sort of beacon that people across the world look up to.  Having said that I'm sure NYC is a cool place with something for everyone.

China will overtake the US as the world's biggest economic superpower in a few years, just saying. ;)

But look at this main important fact the UN HQ is located in NYC. I know the UN building is international territory but it still brings up the importance of the city.

So?  What, you think I don't realise how important NYC is in terms of global economics/politics?  The place still doesn't mean much to me and probably to most people around the world. *shrugs*

NYC.... I've seen it. I've seen it in way way too many TV shows and movies. I'm tired of NYC. You'd think the entire USA was NYC and Los Angeles. If you want something in NY why not Buffalo. Buffalo gets no respect. They can't even win a Super Bowl.

I know NYC is a beautiul city and I have been there quite a few times. Its just that its starting to get annoying when you have the rest of the world that you can also see and I would also like to visit. In terms of places that have something worth seeing in 150 years in the future, you have a lot of places some of which will even be large floating cities, underwater cities which are still currently in the theoritical design phase right now.

As an Australian I feel similarly about Sydney, whenever a movie is is trying to make a point that the plot is affecting the entire world (most commonly aliens invading) they always show Sydney for Australia, usually the bridge or the opera house. So tired of it. <_<

We have a whole country you know.

How about a cornfield in Iowa. That would make for a great battlefield that is atypical.

New Orleans. The Big Easy's just too awesome to leave out of anything. Plus, Mass Effect games need more bayous.
