All right, let me start by saying I LOVE ASHLEY.  No need to get angry Ash fans! Some of you might be curious of the name of this topic and what the heck I am talking about.

I am noob here so I am not quite sure what I am doing but what I am talking about might pertain spoilers to the first two ME's.

Anywho, all I mean is I want an option to slap Ashley because of what she said to me at Horizon. I understand some of her anger is justified but...really? Ash I was DEAD for TWO YEARS and do you honestly think Cerberus would let me contact you? Then you mention Cerberus and she just gets livid! Poor Shep really had no choice!

This whole thing basically happens with Kaiden too.

So to get the main point of this...would anybody like a chance to slap your Virmire surviror in ME3? I would! Sorry for any uh..non-coherent err...ness???

That strikes me as somewhat excessive.

Yeah, you are probably right.  Some people like being excessive though.

Even if you love Ashley ...
Ashley disapproves. Slapping Ashley? If you can take the response ... *raises boomstick* ^^

No, seriously - I doubt there will be any slapping involved. Besides that, it should be Shepard who receives a slap in his face: for uttering stupid lines on Horizon. Seriously, dude, recruiting a loyal Alliance member for Cerberus? Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

I'd say it worked for a loyal Migrant Fleet member, but that happens afterward.

Partly truefax.

That Migrant Fleet member didn't join Shepard right at the spot - she had to finish her own job first. Besides that it doesn't look as that she's trusting Shepard doing the right thing. Also the Admirals don't have issues with Cerberus.

Ashley (Kaidan) on the other hand are loyal members of the Alliance military and the Alliance blames Cerberus being terrorists. Asking them for joining Shepard means they need to give up their current mission PLUS betraying the Alliance. It was NO betrayal for Tali to join Shepard and although she does mind Cerberus, she accepts it as part of the deal. Ashley (Kaidan) can't accept this and I concur.

She's only angry because she cares and is worried about you. It would be worse if she just reacted like "oh hai."

Sadly, that's pretty much the way Shepard reacts to her (more reason to be angered).

That too. I just think that attempt to recruit her pushed her over the edge.

Won't go into spoilers why Ash reacted like she did, lets say, you're not too far away.

I tend to think Tali would've reacted differently if Shepard were a quarian. Since he/she is not, Tali doesn't expect Shepard to understand the reason why she doesn't like Cerberus.

Oh, you have no idea.

At least you don't want to kill her horrible ways.

She goes off the deep end, bawls me out for things that aren't my fault and things that aren't true. She and I will be having words come ME3 but I wouldn't hit her...

At least Kaiden wasn't such a dick about it.

The past is done, CtpData, you need to focus on what's happening now!

A slap is as was stated a bit too much, though I wouldn't mind if my Shepard argued with Ashley/Kaidan about what she/he did at Horizon in Mass Effect 3.

There's nothing happening right now in the ME universe.
And spoilers don't happen officially :P

Okay! Maybe not a slap...but like an argument as someone said? xD I opened a can of worms here!

I never really thought of that...I just wanted her in my squad so  bad I didn't really consider that.  Typical me.

At least she is a squad member for ME3! Yay for witty banters about things like "boomsticks". Seriously though Ashley is one of my favorites.

@ Gespenst: If the leak is right, Kaidan will be a bigger dick about it... we'll see in ME3 I guess. I hope Bioware will cut this "trust issues" short, or at least give as an option to leave VS behind, say "I'll give you a ride to safe occupation, but from now on, you're on your own".

I always think about slapping girls I like

Perfect idea! Forget my slap idea ...I'm a bit irrational at times.

You know you are totally right! Of course I would hate an "Oh hai" response! I can see where her  worry and concern could come off how it did. Thanks for your perspective.

Well, to all the folks calling it excessive- Shepard has punched people for less. I'm not saying, and I know everyone else isn't as well, that I in any way shape or form support violence against women- but C'MON MAN! Both of them deserve a slap in the face along with the writers of Shepards complete inept dialogue during important scenes. Seems Shepard has a silver tongue everywhere despite where she/he needs it most.

I wanted to slap my Shepard for what she said to Vasir after Vasir chewed her out for working with Cerberus. "I know what they've done and it doesn't matter." WHAT?? I'd been working the whole game to subvertly take them down with the plan TO TAKE THEM DOWN after the suicide mission! GAHHHH!

.....*whew!*

/end rant

Agreed! I felt like Shepard could have said way more! Shep was kinda complacent... I dunno just my opinion.

I mean the whole slap idea came to me after I thought about the option to punch that annoying reporter lady.

A shouting match would be a lot more effective than a slap.
