I keep switching between ME3 and BioShock Infinite.
I'll keep voting for both.
I have played both Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. I own them and love both games.
If you referring to The Last Guardian, I am extremely excited to see it as well. However I'm looking forward to ME3 and Infinite a bit more.

This isn't me being bitter or cynical. I want ME3 to blow me away, but I don't want to get caught up in "Most Anticipated" fever when it is no measure of the actual game in any way shape or form. But I guess, if it helps someone get excited about the game, koodos to them. BW better just deliver on the game experience then.

B: Yeah, we will show that, but first look at the guns, the cover system, the grenades, the explotions, the omni-blade. Look how we improved the movement and the flow of combat in ME3.
F: Well, can you at least tell us if MP is gonna be in ME3.
B: ME3 is a SP experience and we are focusing on that.
F: ...Ok. Oh look, new bioware pulse episodes, maybe they will show something other than combat... *sees the combat features being showed again for the 20th time* ...ok...
.
B: Please, support us by voting ME3 as the Most Anticipated Game of 2012!! Show your support, vote now!!
F: Yeah well... good luck with that.
I want to say that I'm not against MP, I'm against how Bioware only showed combat, and only combat (we even don't know how armor customization works or how exploration works) I'm NOT against Bioware showing the improvements on the combat aspects of ME3, I think that combat wise ME3 is looking great, but combat is NOT THE ONLY aspect I want in ME games, and since they just IGNORE people asking to see other aspects. I don't know how can they ask for our support.
Before anyone attacks me, or calls me troll or whatever. This is just MY opinion, if you disagree, it's ok.
I just wanted to say this here in this post because It's ironic that they ask us to vote and they can't even make only ONE video showing other aspects of the game, and the "we are a few months away" doesn't work anymore, the game is going gold in a month or 2 at most, and they won't change anything in that time.
Voted for The Last Guardian.
Sorry for the long post.

As my post above shows, I completely support your position. The ironic thing about them showing all this 'combat' stuff is that they created a game mode SPECIFICALLY FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE COMBAT. Sends up red flags for sure.

Even if it doesn't win, I hope they give us more content to see. Other than just things like bits from the game. I'd really like to see another actual trailer, like the first one they had last year at the VGAs. Maybe something with characters we haven't seen in 3 previews yet.

At its core the ME series to date has been about TPS combat mixed with RPG mechanics and rich, variable dialogue that moves along the narrative. Story mode will likely maximize the number of choices in the dialogue wheel, kick down the "default" difficulty level and increase auto-aim with the goal being to afford maxmum choice in story while toning down combat difficulty. Not reducing the amount of combat.
Besides, it's a lot easier to provide a combat trailer and avoid spoilers than it is to start delving into other areas that were already strong. Weapon and character modifications are best shown in things other than trailers. Like Bioware Pulse episodes.or other behind-the-scenes documentaries. And they'll likely be on display in various forms in the demo that hits next month.

After hearing about Mordin being recast, I have the urge to change my vote now.
Is that official at this point? I know we have a thread about it, but it's also five months old.
Edit: Nevermind.
