Also I love new Xbox 360 dashboard, it's very classy and stylish.

Except that the Normandy prop in the ME3 collector's edition is now worthless since the dashboard has effectively eliminated props (you can only see them when you drill down two levels in the Social menu to specifically view your avatar).

Who thinks that ME3 will win the most anticipated game award?

Who cares? Ok, maybe that was harsh. Perhaps a lot of people care that it will get most anticipated game. Bubble bursting time: that award means abosutely nothing outside the fact that the advertising and hype machine has done it's job. Call me in a year when it is up for Game of the Year.

Gee another combat video. Anyone else as surprised as I am? I could have sworn someone of Bioware said last week that this weeks episode would be on the different game modes (action, story, rpg). Hopefully we get a trailer at least at the VGAs. Is that too much to ask?

-Polite

Gee another mindless poster who doesn't get the point that showing off story, landscapes and findings is spoilerific and no sane person wants that. The only thing that is left is action. I thought that by now this simple thought was generally accepted by everyone, even the less remarkable ones. Was that too much to ask?

Gee another mindless poster who doesn't realize that the game industry managed to show off RPG elements just fine for over a decade.

You'd think by now people would've realized movie trailers do just fine by showing dialogue,  and very often dialogue is especially picked to sell many movies.

I hope some people can realize that the community asked for for the silence and lack of new information after the spoiler-fest that was ME2's marketing campaign.

I don't think the community asked for this part.

If by community you mean a minority of the vocal community who can't handle spoilers, then yes, you mean community. I didn't ask for an information blackout.

Cool video. They definately need to fix the dissapearing gun thing though, and i agree that moving the attack to the left hand might be the best choice considering thats where the omni-tool usually is. Maybe they could solve it by briefly moving the camera to shepards left when doing the punch? Might highten the impact of the move too.

Also: Steimer is soooo much better than that  Silverman guy. I can actually listen to her voice without cringing...

Well, who'd have thought guys preferred listening to chicks over listening to guys?

Unless the guy in question is Stephen Fry.

Steimer is bad and you should feel bad. She worked at IGN for a while, good god her reviews were awful, even for an IGN review.

Which is all the more reason to hire Stephen Fry.

I asked for this, and I am content with the lack of story spoilers thus far (in the marketing anyway, they can't be blamed for people posting details from the hacked beta without caution)

All I ask for before launch are some class videos, and maybe a brief introductory vid for Vega so we have some idea of what to look forward to

I do know that they start about 1am GMT.. so it might be better to just watch the trailers on various game sites and youtube in the morning, thats my plan

Trailers never impress me.

I wasn't even impressed with the ME2 trailers so I didn't buy it until December of last year when Steam had it on sale.

And I've beaten ME2 like 5 times so I ended up really enjoying the game.

It wasnt very Mass Effect. More of just a dirty shooter using sci fi as a backdrop. No spaciness, no strange world, no sleek shiny technology, no emphasis on lore and characters and mysterious conversations with synth beats getting your heart rate up, no fog horn sunrise at the end. On the bright side, it is a graphical improvement. Too bad it is all shooter perspective marketing so I can't see the worlds and people and cities that capture the Mass Effect universe where it started. Just a bunch of gritty world-in-flames scenes.
