Hi there,

I have a problem. I installed bg2, tob, patches, mods, fixes, tweaks,
itd. And then i uninstalled some. Yeah i know, extremely bad idea.
Mostly it was nothing big. But i uninstalled the mod in scs2 that
allowed me to have all strongholds and allowed my berserker/mage to have
only planar sphere and dearnise hold, which i could get anyway.

Now the problem is as follows. When i come to Temple of Helm, the guy
says that he needs nothing from me right now. Naturaly, because before i
changed the stronghold thingy, it thought that i was priest and since i
am lawfull i am supposed to get this quest from the guy in temple of L.
( lawfull temple anyway ). When i come there and talk to the guy in
charge, he has nothing to say to me. He will talk to my companions and
say he needs to speak with me. And yep, i know why he has nothing to say
to me. Cause suddenly to him im not Priest anymore.

SOO, how can i get out of this mess ? Hopefully with commands. Basicly i
need the Helm guy to "reset", ergo acknoledge that im not a priest and
give me the quest. And i need to fix the lawfull priest aswell, because i
dont want him to be like, "i have nothing to say to you", i want him to
at least say hello to me.

Also, will i have problems with other quests which can lead to
strongholds aswell ? Soo far i had no problem with druid quest ( after i
uninstalled strongholds mod i wasnt able to challenge the lady anymore
soo i had Jaherae kick her butt ) and dearnise ( its my stronghold
already ).

I added weidu log, i cant give you baldurs txt error cause baldur.err is empty.

You can't uninstall mods while a game is in play and then continue your game... I know its not what you want to hear but that is the bottom line.

Surely there is a way to reset both of those guys....Or are you trying to tell me that i should just uninstall it all together and restart from the beginning ? Because other things seem to be fine....i only have problem with those 2 stupid priests. -.-

Near Infinity will tell you what to do in the Console. You only need to be able to find the relevant dialog scripts.

Re-install the mods and go back to an earlier save game. Always create a unique save game before doing anything like adding or removing mods.

Failing that, use Shadowkeeper to view the global variables and correct or remove the appropriate ones. Most are reasonably well named, I don't particularly remember these but would expect them to either contain the priests name or have some mention of stronghold. It is a matter of trial and error from there.

So while it is possible to reset quests etc the advice given by ussnorway is sound. If you don't have save games to go back to you can end up with a lot of variables in a mess.
