Hopefully something that showcases a little more of the story, emotional, dialogue etc.

Also - I'm intrigued by this supposed BioWare C&C game.....

Just going to rain on your parade - chances are the FemShep trailer will be released alongside the release trailer. Why? So it can have as much FemShep footage as possible. If they released it now you'd get a pretty short trailer as most footage may not be finished yet. The whole point of the FemShep trailer is to show her off as much as possible, and for that to happen chances are it'll need to be released close to the game's release.

It may be at the VGAs, but those of you looking forward to it shouldn't get angry if it isn't.

Also, I'm very excited about C&C Alliance. There hasn't been a good C&C game since Generals imo, and if its true then I can't wait to see what Bioware can do with it. As long as its a proper RTS and not a watered-down one.

Actually, make that two reveals. To kick things off, BioWare will be showing some brand new footage from Mass Effect 3, the latest game in Shepard’s planet-spanning, world-saving saga. But BioWare’s space age RPG isn’t the only game in the hot gaming spotlight.

I read "Shepard’s planet-scanning, world-saving saga". It's madness!

That vid more or less confirmes that it's their C&C-game they're gonna announce. Looked good, those whole 2 seconds of it. Hope it's better than the last games they made. C&C 4 was probably the worst game ever made.

I heard EA is re-booting that franchise so unless that game fails, it won't be last one.

Everything from Red Alert 3 was on a downhill trend. When EA first got hold of the franchise they released Red Alert 2 and Generals, two of my favourite ever games (each of which also had an expansion that was, imo, better than the actual game), but they've been going downhill ever since. Here's hoping that if its true, Bioware can redeem the franchise and bring it back to its former glory.

I'm still hoping for a Generals 2 one day, but hopefully Alliances can fill that void.

Ha. You're clearly suffering from post-traumatic scanning disorder (PTSD). Image IPB

But that's okay because I read it that way too; only, I didn't question it. Hehehe.

BioWare barely has anything to do with it. It's made by Victory games, a studio that EA recently split from EA Los Angeles and it was EA Los Angeles making those C&C games. So it's basically the same developer making the new game, it's just that Victory game is now in the BioWare RPG/RTS/MMO developement division.

That seems even better. A studio with at least RTS experience, that will be getting at least some input from Bioware, seems ideal. Victory Games can nail the gameplay and hopefully Bioware can bring something to the table writing-wise, much like DICE is doing sound-wise for ME3.

If you pause at :07 you can see Tali and Shep and what appears to be Jacob- in a new suit! Could this be part of the trailer

Nah, that clip is from ME2's E3 trailer a couple of years ago.

The text says "To kick things off, BioWare will be showing some brand new footage from Mass Effect 3"...

... which I read as "more fraps".

I could be wrong and it be femsheptrailah.
