A trailer entirely featuring femshep doesn't make sense because she isn't a mass marketing stuff, she is directed to a small group of people, meaning us, the more hardcore fans.

VGA is an event to show things to the mass public, people that have probably never played with femshep and might not even know there is new one now, they expect nothing but the default Shepard in the trailer.

Therefore reason dictates that what we are going to see at VGA is a CGI trailer with the default Shepard.

Also - I'm intrigued by this supposed BioWare C&C game.....

My money's on Bodies playing under the trailer, judging from the trailers we've had so far. Fan trailers are much better at doing emotion than the official ones. So far anyway. Case in point.

For the love of Biotic God, please no! Combat dominated the entire ME3 marketing enough, please be some new location shots, dialogues, cutscenes, customization, anything but just a combat-fest!

They weren't even good anyway, that squad leader trailer (I think that's what it was called) was awful. It just showed some uninteresting lookng combat and bad running animations.

Just because the trailer may feature FemShep doesn't mean it automatically stops appealing to male ME fans lol. I mean, is Tomb Raider's audience made solely of females because Lara Croft is a girl? No. New CGI ME3 trailer would appeal to all potential customers pretty much just as well whether having Sheploo or FemShep. Everyone already know you can play male Shepard in this franchise, but not everyone knows there's a female option too. It's a chance to grab more female players. But it ain't like male ones will suddenly lose interest because they showed female version of Shep in the trailer.

I would reveal her in a Bioware Pulse episode, showing how they made it, answering question how they animated her, how she was handled different from maleshep, etc... it will be good enough for the fans. They will finally see her in game and get very important question answered.
