They weren't even good anyway, that squad leader trailer (I think that's what it was called) was awful. It just showed some uninteresting lookng combat and bad running animations.


At least we got to see Mars and the Engineer's melee attack! :devil::devil:

Mars is where you recruit Liara so it's a decent guess.

Ok, it is a hard part of my job, but I prefer to do what I call "managing expectations". When we do not manage fan expectation, people's imaginations get ahead of them and they see something cool, but since it isn't what they expect, they end up disappointed.

I can say it is not the FemShep trailer.

I can say it is footage not seen previously (not from previous demos, etc) and shows a "cool scene" on a planet that should be familiar to people who played Mass Effect 2.

I'm not going to say any more. This is a nice scene that made me geek out when I saw it. I know ME fans will enjoy it. I'll be watching the VGA awards and tweeting on my @BioEvilChris channel (easier to talk abotu otehr company's games and videos that way) during the show. I hope you all tune in to watch, and don't forget to vote for ME3 as Most Anticipated Game for 2012.

Thank you so much for clearing that up Chris. Now the femshep trailer-needers can go move their discussion elsewhere. I'm hoping for some clips of returning characters but anything will be fine.

Will you post the footage to your YouTube channel? I won't watch the VGAs because of the time difference.

My guess is it's the Reaper versus thresher maw fight on Tuchanka.

Thank you! I am sure there will be many upset board members that it is not the FemShep trailer but it makes watching the VGAs all the more important.

Firstly, cheers for clearing that up Chris.

Secondly, £5 says its Tuchunka and the Reaper vs Thresher Maw scene. It shows us something we haven't seen but it is something the majority of us have known about for a long time, so it doesn't spoil anything.

Not suprised it isn't the FemShep trailer. We're lucky if it's done before 2014 or so. The ''summer'' is after all ''soon'' over ;)
So a cool scene from a planet i should recognize. I guess it's Tuchanka and hopefully without Garrus and Liara for once.

Wrex has definitely proven himself as a crowd-pleaser and I highly doubt we'd see Tuchanka in a trailer without him. :wizard:
