Just out of curiosity, why are you making the poll? Is it to see what people want to see in the traile,r or what people think we'll see in the trailer?

Invictus might as well be on the table too, although I really doubt Chris would bring it up in such a fashion if it were a world we technically haven't actually seen up close.

If you're thinking of Aite, then you'd probably want to add the planet from Kasumi's mission as well, Bekenstein. But I really think that's all getting ahead of things a bit much. I would be very surprised if it were Aite or Bekenstein.

Don't see reason to visit Bekenstein ever again.

Reapers can't get there, while they and Cerberus would rather assault Citadel then Bekenstein, since you need to go through Citadel to get to Bekenstein.



While Aite in other hand has big Cerberus base with quite advanced technology.

And Legion can be there as well if you sold him to Cerberus.

Yeah, I figured as much. Ultimately I agree with you, but I just find it rather low odds that Aite would be addressed; I know LotSB and Arrival are slated to 'happen' even for players who never actually purchased them, but I'd be a tad surprised if even more optional baggage were made mandatory such as the events of Overlord being undoubtedly referenced to some extent or another if we returned there. I'd just imagine that'd be something best left to emails, if you catch my drift.

You know, now that I've gotten pseudo-confirmation that it might not in fact be a planet (but of course, it still very would could be!) I'm thinking about the comm scenes with The Illusive Man. December 10th would be a great window to show him off again since Martin Sheen got a lot of people who hadn't gotten into the series yet psyched for ME2 when his character was revealed.

Should have just included the option for key locations that weren't planets from the start since like I said, Chris is only human and makes wording errors (or not errors!) just like the rest of us.

Ok, it is a hard part of my job, but I prefer to do what I call "managing expectations". When we do not manage fan expectation, people's imaginations get ahead of them and they see something cool, but since it isn't what they expect, they end up disappointed.

I can say it is not the FemShep trailer.

I can say it is footage not seen previously (not from previous demos, etc) and shows a "cool scene" on a planet that should be familiar to people who played Mass Effect 2.

I'm not going to say any more. This is a nice scene that made me geek out when I saw it. I know ME fans will enjoy it. I'll be watching the VGA awards and tweeting on my @BioEvilChris channel (easier to talk abotu otehr company's games and videos that way) during the show. I hope you all tune in to watch, and don't forget to vote for ME3 as Most Anticipated Game for 2012.

Why do I get the feeling the FemShep trailer will drop quietly a week before release when it will largely go unnoticed and have no impact on sales... seems like the VGA's would have been a GOOD TIME to release a FemShep trailer.

Its for the fans, not for the mass-marketing stuff. Brand recognition pretty much requires Bioware to use the standard male Shepard in most trailers. The FemShep trailer will be a gift to the fans interested.

I think they could have made another game in the time that has passed since the FemShep trailer was announced. So much for "soon."

EDIT: As to the planet/location in question, I also believe it is the Thresher Maw vs. Reaper scene which GameInformer spoke of back in April. If so, then the planet is Tuchanka.

"Soon" in video game developer terms is never soon enough.
