I've read the description for the strength and dexterity attributes and it says increases accuracy of melee attacks for the former and increases chances to hit for the latter. Now, my question is, the accuracy of melee attacks are affected by strength or dexterity? Or both? Given that I want to use a longsword. Thanks for any replies.

IIRC, dexterity only affects your accuracy with ranged weapons and defense. Strength increases accuracy with melee weapons and damage with melee weapons. If you're going sword and board, get dexterity up high enough to max out the sword and board tree, as well as uping constitution and strength. When you've met your dexterity requirement for one of the lines for sword and board, up strength, constitution and willpower (for more stamina).

You get +0.5 for every point above 10 from each.

Lord Phoebus is correct. Either will augment your attack rating with melee weapons. Of note: only dexterity will augment your attack rating with ranged weapons (at a 1:1 ratio if I recall).

Nope. The only benefit a templar gets from increasing magic is more effective healing poultices...which isn't all that impressive.Kelvintyk wrote...
