You think that's weird?

I don't think Witcher is an RPG.

Surely DAII has at least ONE redeeming feature.

DA2 has a better UI than TW2 and Skyrim.

I haven't played DA2, but this is very likely.

no your right its an easier to use menu so that its esier to see how restricted you are in the inventory tab and how out of place it is in that setting atleast tw2 and skyrims look like they belong a bit more then d.a.2's mass effect menu.

Skyrim has been pretty lackluster for me. I have forced myself to play it for about 50 hours now, but it's very dull and repetitive if you've already played MMOs in the past. Most of the quests are fetch quests and I also got a quest to "kill 10 bears" also. *yawn*

Understanding that all future play would likely just be more cave-diving errands, I decided not to invest any more time than I have already. Modestly entertaining but I really don't see what all the excitement is about. It's just "fine" to me.

Yeah, same feelings about Skyrim here. Hundreds of caves all looking more or less alike. And people complain about DA2 reusing some dungeons models, but not about Skyrim... ok... not hypocritical at all. Not a GOTY here, not by far. Such crappy PC port shouldn't have even been nominated.

I wonder if i'm the only one that loved (loves) both Skyrim AND DAII (Haven't played TW, mostly because I'm not into softcore porn) and doesn't automatically think the other is a piece of sh*t that doesn't deserve to be spit upon.

LOL... Skyrim is ****ing epick! After over 300 hours into it and far far away from finishing it I can really say it: Only DA Origins and TW2 has that amount of developers' love put into a game. The rest, DA2 included, are games for casual gamers with not much time to play and like it light and easy. Fetch quest in Skyrim? really? The fetch quests in Skyrim takes you all over the country and makes you face some dozen different type of new quests on the way to each other one!

So different from finding a bone in some remains and a journal msg pop up "The dalish would like to get that bone"!

Calling TW2 softcore porn just show one thing: Ignorance and Ignorance is the worst disease of our RL world!

Skyrim is ****ing epick and this is one to show proof of it. It's not mine but it is from a BSN friend:

Skyrim - I'm An Assassin. HD

*snip*

The only reason I know who that is is because Ringo12 always has a Tina Fey (that's who it is, right?) profile pic.

And, not sure what that is. Is that a *rolls eyes*?

Edit: and I guess I'm alone in the belief that sex and after sex scenes with freely shown genitals is porn, if only softcore. But I don't mind.

DA2 wasn't all that bad - but honestly, did anyone expect it to live up to Skyrim? That's pretty much the equivalent of a slug vs. a pile of salt.

Bethesda, let me point you to the highest rated RPG game of all time. Mass Effect 2.

OH WHAT'S THAT!? The next three highest rated RPG games are also made by Bioware? Bualders Gate, Baulders Gate 2 and Jade Empire? Well now, there's something!

Bethesda 1 - Bioware 4

I agree. While I like DAII quite a bit (though I DO like DA:O better, before people start branding me as a COD fan), it's simply unfathomable that it (or just about any game, really) can stand up against a game where you can play for one hundred hours straight and not touch the main quest. Nothing can beat that (not necessarily that alone, but that in combination with Skyrim's other completely unique features).

And I think GLaDOS' voice could be used as a form of torture to interrogate prisoners - right up there with scratching chalkboards and rubbing two pieces of styrofoam together.

How her voice actress won an award at the VGAs is now the eighth Wonder of the World.

There is a huge difference between thousands of dungeons looking somewhat similar and having the same EXACT dungeon copy and pasted throughout the entire game.
You try making a giant game world and not end up repeating yourself.

Man, BSN is having a bad day today I think. Everybody's so sensitive.

Not as sensitive as my ears when playing Portal - perhaps that's the real reason I was having hearing problems a few months ago.

It's the audio equivalent of the 3DS, destroying your hearing rather than your eyesight - and wow, could you imagine playing Portal on the 3DS? You'd slowly, torturously go blind and deaf at the same time.

I'll be sure to run that idea by Homeland Security - they could do with a few new torture methods to help crack their prisoners.

Of course not: how could something live up to the competition if it even didn't to its own predecessor?
