Bioware, you're really starting to test my loyalty here lol.

First you teamed up with EA (lets face it; those cretins are bound to screw up any game series they come in contact with)

Then ME3 gets multiplayer(which may or may not be bad as it seems, we dont know yet)

THEN Jack Wall, the composer for Mass Effect's music gets replaced.(still, may not be a bad thing, but couldnt his departure wait until AFTER the trilogy finishes???)

Now one of the character's voice actors gets replaced. And its fast-talking MORDIN of all of them. Charactors play a main role in Mass Effect games(needless to say, their voice also plays a main role xP) so the replacement better be good. :/

In my case, I wouldnt say "loyalty".
I would say there testing my patience. Hah.

I agree, EA is like Lava, it ruins anything/everything it touches.

Multiplayer. Meh. Im still talking with myself and seeing if I like the idea or not since no one else will listen to my constant ramblings.

ANNNND Zomg the music guy got replaced?
Lawdy tbh
dem foos need sum of mirandas butcheks tbh:pinched:

lol agreed, Bioware you are testing your fans loyalty/patience!

And yeah teh musix guy DID get replaced, by Clint Mansell. :[
It may be good, (check out the "Moon" soundtrack) but still, its like having an awesome subway sandwich and suddenly replacing the chedder cheese with blue cheese. Just aint right. xP

I would be ok with multi, but only as long as us fans get what we need. Yes, NEED.(check petition below comment for some examples). I'm getting worried that it could be crap though mainly for these three reasons;
ME3's Co-op...

•Can't be played locally - yet. "It is definitely on the table as something we might add."

•Won't support user-run servers or offline severs "any time soon".

•Will one day be taken offline - i.e. there is a 'sunset plan'. "Yes, absolutely. We won't be taking the servers down until we realize that there aren't enough players playing to warrant keeping them up and when we do take them down, we will make sure there are options so the players who are playing don't feel abandoned. If anything is a good example, you can see today that Neverwinter Nights is still supported and we've kept a lot of our servers live on it. So I wouldn't be too worried about us taking down the servers any time soon.

(Source-  http://www.eurogamer...3-co-op-details

Because of the three reasons I put up PLUS the fact the Mass Effect is a single-player driven game in the first place, they better add offline/local capability. And if they do that then the "one day will be taken offline" wont be much of a problem because unlike most multi games, single player games dont have to constantly be connected to the 'net and can be played even if other ppl arent. Same can go with the co-op if they do it right. :/

Multiplayer makes sense. BioWare put multiplayer in a lot of their games.

I remember Jack Wall saying in a podcast (can't find it) that after doing ME2 he wasn't sure about doing ME3 because he wanted to do new things.

Maybe its nothing to do with money, maybe it's ***Insert random buzzword***

Look at Dragon Age 2, Greg Ellis voiced Anders in DA Awakening, but Adam Howden voiced Anders in DA2, even though Greg Ellis was already contracted to providing VO for DA2!!!

And its not just Bioware, Blizzard changed the VO for Kerrigan from Glynnis Talken-Campbell in Starcraft to Tricia Helfe in Starcraft 2!

So who knows the reason...

I'll give you that they probably don't care very much about Mordin fans, but you're way wrong about us not being even 1% of players. Way wrong.

His popularity as pick for ME3's squad was comparable to that of Miranda, Liara, even Tali (who, might I add, was added to ME3's squad because of fan demand). And these numbers include non-BSNers, because the poll was open to anybody who viewed my thread.

Hell anyone over 140 should have been the ME3 squad. btw GARRUS VAKARIAN FTW!!!

I'll be pissed if it turns out they replaced Beattie with some semi-celebrity.

What's even more mind boggling is that Mordin seems to have quite a role (if he's alive) in ME3. This is such a horrible choice, replacing an actor. It's very tasteless to do it in the end of a trilogy. I hope it's somehow not true

If it is, I hope Bioware has good excuse and that replacement can be Mordin.

I'm having a hard time imagining what they could possibly say to make this situation any better.

except when it's the "make Tali a squadmate or else" petitions i guess

Except that they didn't listen to those either.
You don't need petitions to know Tali is popular.
Take a quick look at game convection's for example.
You always got a question for Tali, but like never for Miranda who is looking from only BSN probably more popular then Tali.

I'd agree that Tali is more popular than Miranda, but that doesn't mean that they have to change her role (I mean Tali) and make her a squadmate when they decided she shouldn'be, only because they fear the reaction of her fans. Imo, it'd have been better if they didn't say anything about the fact that they changed her role in the game.

Indeed. I mean it's not that there isn't anyone else who can voice Mordin. Meer did an OK job after all in the demo. But it's not the same. Why do this without necessity?

They never decided to change her role do to her popularity.

Hers popularity made Bioware decide give her important role during development.

Ah...one of the bigger polls. Set the limit at 170, and we'd have:
*Ashley/Kaidan
*Garrus
*Legion
*Liara
*Miranda
*Mordin
*Tali
*Wrex

Eight - just like ME3's going to have. Narrative concerns aside, if that team hadn't satisfied 99.9% of the fanbase I don't know what would have. You even have two among them who are guaranteed to be alive.

Still, she was meant to be outside of the squad. And I really don't understand how she can be on Shepard's squad wit the role she has in ME3. I hope they find a good explanation for that.

I'd love that squad. Though I have to say that it'd have impossible to do it with the SM and the possible death of all of those ME2 character plus Wrex.

Got any actual evidence she's not, like the OP does for Beattie not coming back?  No?  Then you're jumping the gun.
