What is the best way to utilize Leliana in a party with Morrigan, Alistair, and myself as another warrior? I like her bow skills, but am unsure beyond that. Thanks

The third bard song is great (better than the first). Aim is your best damage booster. Forget about active archery talents, just use the sustained modes. However, I do usually set her tactics to use Shattering Shot if she's being attacked in melee just because of the knockback effect. Alternately you could have her use combat stealth when being attacked in melee.

If you set her tactics to attack the target of the main character, she will steal your kills and rob you of your warrior Death Blow stamina bonus. I like to set her to attack an enemy that's attacking Alistair (he's my tank). Only use Arrow of Slaying against Enemies using Type of Attack: Magic, and only if you're having trouble with emissaries. And of course, DO NOT give her Dodge. The dodge animation stops her attack routine. I can consistently get her to achieve 15-16% of party damage that way while my warrior is managing ~50%.

What about dual wielding for melee situations?

It takes too many talent points in my opinion. If Alistair is tanking and Morrigan is crowd controlling, Leliana should almost never have trouble with melee. Plus, rogues are weak at dual wielding unless they are backstabbing. She will do more damage with a bow unless you plan on manually controlling her rather than your Warden. Just set her tactics to Ranged behavior and you'll be fine.

Sleep and Waking Nightmare are two of my favorites to cast on clustered enemies, especially archers. Paralysis is ok, but not as good as Glyph of Paralysis. Glyph of Repulsion can be cast on Leliana to keep enemies off of her. Watch out when casting Glyph of Repulsion and Glyph of Paralysis on the same spot. If you do it accidentally, the resulting Paralysis Explosion could mess up your strategy. If done intentionally, the glyph combo is very good CC. It's hard to do right, though.

Don't know if you are on PC or console. If on PC, check out the Detailed Tooltips mod. It changes the descriptions of powers and spells to tell you what they actually do, instead of the confusing (and sometimes just wrong) descriptions from Bioware. This mod will not affect combat or gameplay. It only provides better descriptions of talents. Or you could go to dragonage.wikia.com and read the description of the talents there. That site does have spoilers, so if you don't want the plot revealed to you, only read the class and talent/spell descriptions. Stay away from character profiles and quest descriptions.
