And on the subject of Skyrim's bugs, I have rarely ran into any bugs on my 360 version. Its been very good to me.
From what I've heard, its the PS3 guys having most bug issues. Hope everything gets worked out for them and anyone else who's ran into a mess of bugs, hah.
But yes, even IF Skyrim had a ton of bugs, it'd still be lightyears over DA2. And that's coming from someone who's first Elder Scrolls game is Skyrim.
Fun fact- I only bought Skyrim because I was disappointed in DA2 and felt the need to get my RPG fix from another franchise should future DA games be that bad.
The problem is not just the bugs as I said, it's the exploitation of the broken skill system. Something that has annoyed me to no end since Daggerfall honestly.
What I mean by this is the fact that the new skill trees are unbalanced, favor only two viable strategies in-game via full on combat, or full on enchanting/smithing (which honestly is how you break the game anyway...) and then some skill trees are completely pointless, like pickpocketing and lockpicking, because they serve little function outside of a few quests, and are rendered useless by in-game rewards.
Skyrim is basically not a balanced game, and not even an immersive one to boot, but thats another issue all together and will just open up a bigger can of worms.
But to each their own, as you said. Point though is still the same, considering how much it really did win this year.
