Here it is:

http://nwvault.ign.c...s.Detail&id=624

It is highly recommended that you review the readme before downloading. There is a decent amount of stuff to do to get this working so you should know ahead of time what to expect. Image IPB

Very nice. I am tempted to poach some bits of this but I haven't really gotten onto city-type area building yet.

Very, very nice Banshe. That's some beautiful work! I love the feel of the textures. You really nailed it from what I see in the screen shots. Your efforts have really paid off and you've added a key resource to the NWN2 modelling lexicon.  Do the characters on the walls have a meaning or translation?

If these were advertised widely I think you would have people swarming to make some Eastern themed stories. People not even particularly interested in D&D or fantasy.

By the way, did you ever post a final version of your world map you were working on a few years ago?

Go for it. You may find the prefab buildings useful as they are to be found in villages and remote mountain outposts (i.e. everywhere).

Thanks! As for the characters, they are placeholder signs so they are not specifically designed to be where they are. I had an assortment of chinese characters for things like "inns", "restaurant" "spices" etc and I chose some characters at random. The goal was to illustrate to the builder the types of places where signs can go.

I never did post the final version of my world map. I think I will wait until the campaign is up and running. ;)

Very nice. One thing, there's lots of screenshots at night. These don't give a good idea of how things look.

Hehe. This was rather strange for me but the daytime was over really quick and the night seemed to last forever. I only have a few daylight shots before the sun started to set.

However, I didn't really like the daytime settings as it exposed a lot of textural and model flaws. I think this area's Day/Night settings need to be tweaked.

Modules default to 1pm start time, which is why it was short. And yes, the textures aren't that great (not your fault, you didn't make the BCK objects). NWN2 has very uneven texture quality in general, even in official stuff (very obvious on different rugs for instance).

Ah, that is why it got dark so quickly and stayed dark so long.

As for flaws, I think NWN2 has some, Nytir had some and I made my fair share. But I think with the right fog/light settings, it can be largely masked.
