RULES:
1. From the start turns will be every 12 hours in Phase 1, every 8 hours in Phase 2 & every 6 hours in Phase 3.
2. There will be phases to the game, some benchmarks, and a couple time limits. Just to keep things moving and to break up monotony.
3.There will be a section marked "copy with each turn" and I'd like to see that part copied along with the list of TV Shows so new players can dive right in, hopefully.
4. No badgering other players, no insulting characters on the list endlessly (some fun is ok, but bashing repeatedly
will be frowned upon), no waxing endlessly on the reasons your favoritecharacter is losing or your least favorite character is winning.
5. If you start harrassing another player in a mean spirited way you will be asked to stop playing this HOH and any posts you make will be ignored and points you take away or give will not be included in game play. I will not tolerate harrassment, trolling, or any behavior which takes the fun out of game play. You have been warned.
As in every Hurt or Heal game, there are phases:
PHASE ONE: BUILD UP
All 2011 games on the list start at 0 points. This is to give players an incentive to raise up points for their favorite game.
In the first phase each player on their turn can spend 4 points to heal a video game. There is no hurting in this phase. Those 4 points can go all to 1 video game or can be divided between 4 video games or any range inbetween. Each game can only reach a max of 40 points before no more points can be added to them. Phase One will end when 12 games have reached 40 points. Any game that failed to receive any points during this round will be eliminated at the start of Phase 2
PHASE TWO: HURT OR HEAL
All games come into this round with their totals from the previous round.
Each player on the their turn has 4 points to spend. These points can be used to hurt a video game on the list, heal a video game, or any combination of the two, as long as the player spend no more than 4 points. Games may only reach a max of 300 points during this round, after that they may not be healed higher. Once at 0 a video game is eliminated. This Phase will last two weeks from when it begins.
PHASE THREE: TEAR DOWN
Video games come into this round with their totals from the previous round; all eliminated video games remain eliminated.
Each player on their turn can spend 4 points hurting games on the list. A player can spend all 4 on hurting one video game, 1 point each to hurt 4 separate video games, or any range inbetween. There is no healing in this Phase. This Phase will last until there is only 1 survivor.
