Its a new Bioware studio. The established ones will probably keep making RPGs. There is nothing wrong with a company expanding its horizons.CaptainRegor wrote...

I'm a bit mixed. First it's a sequel to Generals , yay, with the Frostbyte engine, but it's being done by Bioware and after the last C&C, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
As long as it's got actual base building and large-scale strategy. I enjoy tactical RTSs without those featrues, but lately it seems like those are all that gets made. C&C4 (whatever it was official subtitled - Tiberium Twilight, I think?) definitely fell victim to that trend.

C&C4 fiasco is why I'm mixed...Gabriel Stelinski wrote...
Considering the C&C4 fiasco, frankly, I'm glad BioWare's the new dev.

If I had been forced to bet I would've put my money on C&C:G2 after carefully reviewing all common theories, but yet I still can't quite believe it. BioWare + C&C does still not compute in my head.
Its because its not really BioWare- in that, I think when most people think of BioWare they're thinking Edmonton. This is just Victory Games or EA LA which EA had BioWare gobble up once they became a fully fledged EA Label. Just seems EA is really trying to position BioWare as their own sort of Blizzard, between getting into strategy games and MMOs.

I think someone at EA thinks Bioware brand on a game = big sales.
When have Bioware been in amongst the big selling games. I think they will only lessen the Bioware brands appeal by doing this and make it Bioware brand = less sales.

Yeah but maybe this old archaic system is still most used operating system huh ?
I hate to butt in just to burst someone's bubble in an off-topic manner, but isn't WinXP's usage *declining* in that graph in favor of Win7? Are you trying to prove that WinXP or Win7 is superior?

Bear in mind that the studio making Generals 2 used to be Victory Games - now they use the name Bioware, but really it is an entirely new studio that is only Bioware in name.

Still most used in general and most used on gaming PC's is a different thing, see any recent Steam survey for reference. The game is coming in 2013 - until then XP is down into single digit numbers.
